I’m so utterly confused by the way your pharmacies work. For one, after my doctor submits prescriptions (none are controlled substances), if I don’t call to request they are filled then they just sit there for days going unfilled. Am I incorrect in thinking YOUR JOB IS TO FILL THE PRESCRIPTION WHEN YOU CAN AND THEN NOTIFY ME TO PICK IT UP????? Why do I have to call you TO ASK YOU TO DO YOUR JOB?!?!?!

Two, I didn’t need a prescription for a bit and didn’t submit a refill request until a couple months later - called to ask about it and they stated it was an early refill. IT WAS NOT! I had to take my bottle in and prove it was last filled two months prior ask they review footage to see I indeed HAD NOT PICKED IT UP IN 2 MONTHS! It was only a one month prescription too so it’s not like they mistaked me for having more than a month’s amount.

Third, I received notification a prescription was picked up…I had never picked it up. I had to go to the store and have them review video footage of the time it was supposedly picked up for them to clearly see it never was. They then filled it for me and apologized.

I’m sorry but what the fuck is wrong with your system? Why is there a new issue every single month? AND WHY CANT YOU WAIT TO PUT THE ACTUAL DATE PICKED UP ON THE BOTTLE TO ENSURE SICK AND ELDERLY PEOPLE ARE NOT CONFUSED BY THE DATE????? If it’s a necessity to do it that way THEN YOU NEED TO NOTIFY YOUR PUBLIC ABOUT IT!

It’s as if you’re addicted to making your own lives harder on top of the lives of your patients. No one should EVER have to demand you show video proof of them not picking up a prescription???? For a non controlled substance at that!

Had a customer tell me today that poster boards are the new tik tok trend, so I hope y'all are prepared for that shit.

So I find it funny that Walgreens knows pretty well that the credit card program has been an absolute failure. They are currently in year six of a 10 year contract with synchrony bank. And I was always under the impression that at the end of the 10 year term they would abandon the program and go in a different direction.

Well, it turns out that my store manager found out from the district manager who found out from someone higher above him that Walgreens is going to double down and extend the contract with synchrony Bank and continue the credit card program past the 2030 deadline.

Obviously things can change between now and then especially with Sycamore or whoever ends up, owning us in another year or two, but it is just evident that Walgreens no matter who owns us refuses to make good business decisions.

This isn’t really a complaint or anything because anyone with two eyes maybe even one no that it’s true but it’s just humorous at this point that Company can continue to make poor decisions and then wonder why things aren’t going well. Might as well ask Disney at this point if they would like to buy Walgreens.

Yesterday we had to print out 17 banners. My photo printer machine kept messing up the banner. The ink kept ruining the banner. We kept cleaning the machine, still kept messing up. Store manager "dont cancel this order"

Ugh i gotta keep retrying.. People think walgreens is staples or a high quality photo place. I hate doing epic photo orders. Projects are cool but 10 canvas 8×10 nooo that's alot of work then on top of that I'm doing register. Ugh I gotta pray nobody wants a passport while waiting for their 10 or 5 set of canvas or banners to be painted. Walgreens gotta let two employees work behind each register.

My store gets upset when they see two employees working behind a register unless its being called for IC3.

So I’ve only been here about 2 months and I told my sm I wanted to be promoted and have more responsibilities .wellll I worked on what she told me to work on and welll she told me about an opening at the second busiest store in our district and suggested I apply for it welll I got it!!!!

Our store only allows $500 per day.

What every Sunday? Because our truck is every Thursday and I typically get Fridays and and Saturdays off. What pisses me off is the fact I’ll come back to the most passive aggressive note left in the office that everyone tells me about before i even clock in. He’ll assign me to do the u boats and after I clock in, count safe, do FedEx inventory and 1506, I hop right on them. Wheel out a u boat, stock what can go out to home, look around for any second locations as we can’t go off the zebra as he rather we empty any even new floor stands and side panels when they come in and throw away the display so the zebra is ‘wrong’ 95% of the time when it says there is a display/side panel/endcap for it. Then put the boxes that don’t can’t go out back on the u boat and put it back in the back. My SM hates when we put anything on the red carts which means it just has to sit on the u boats. Then I rinse and repeat til they’re all done.

Only to come in Sunday to a fuckin note that has sat there for two days that says ‘blah blah u boats ‘untouched’ what were you doing all shift?’ The fucking u boats and the rest of my work sir. You not only give me ZERO employees who can do IC3 for the pharmacy but also have a skeleton crew in there so they are calling for it every fucking 10 minutes. You hate when we put overstock on the overstock carts like we’re suppose to, you hate when we put what needs to be in the coolers in the cooler back stock, so where the fuck else do I put it? How is shit untouched when you see multiple boxes opened and we went from two cleaner u boats to half of one? The fuck you mean ‘untouched’? I do it exactly how two of his favorite employees do it and all three of us have compared how we do it and every step we do is Identical but some how I’m the only one that leaves shit ‘untouched’?

Fuck it, in just going to either reassign them to someone else or get the camera for passports, take a before and an after picture and drape them over the u boats from now on. Which works for me since I saw he took fucking pictures of the u boats this time himself with that camera.

We had a coworker sell cigarettes to a person without showing id. That person was a tobacco audit person and he failed by selling her cigarettes

What will happen to my coworker?

Will he be fired? Will he be assessed fines of 20,000 like she told him?

We have a floater pharmacist today who is wearing sandals... I brought it up to the store manager and he said there's nothing he could do because she's a floater and not our staff pharmacist. He's made techs go home and change for wearing crocs (with socks) so I don't understand why its acceptable or appropriate for the pharmacist to be wearing freaking sandals. Its gross, I dont want to see your feet ma'am...

So yesterday my csa sold an old dude a pack of cigarettes while I was in the office taking care of some stuff. The dude claims he was double charged and talks all crazy to the csa so I come out to see wtf was going on. He pulls up his bank transactions and sure enough there's 2 charges for the same price. However the first charge was said to be 8 whole hours before he even bought the cigs.

I go and print out the list of transactions that occurred at both times so he can see that he was only charged once and that there's not even a record of the other transaction he claimed happened. He said he was in a whole different town at that time. I told him he should probably contact his bank because this is the first time I was seeing something like that. He claims nobody had access to his information but idk.

The whole thing just pissed me off because he was huffing and puffing acting like an ass towards my csa and speaking to me with an attitude like I'm not the one actively trying to help him. Didn't even apologize to either of us after I showed him the proof smh.
