As the title says we get married today!! I could reserve us an uber from our venue back to the hotel for $35 or an SUV or Limo from Bell Trans for around $95ish! Which would you recommend?

Anyone ever hire a surrogate MOH? Just need someone to calm nerves from 10am-Noon on 5-22-26 before wedding.

Looking for a Bridal Assistant to help calm nerves & make sure I look okay before the wedding. It’s not to be in the wedding, just someone that might help with last minute touches. My hair & makeup will be done. Just someone who can be honest, upbeat & detail oriented. Someone who can tell me what needs adjusting etc. How do I find someone like this & how much does this cost? Lol Thank you!!!
UPDATE: Found ‘Nannies & Grannies’ in Las Vegas. They have Bridal Asst, Butlers, Party Attendants, etc. it’s a 4 hr minimum - Super nice people and excited to have someone there. THANK YOU

Has anyone had success getting an outside wedding cake at Bellagio or Cosmo?

We have already ordered and paid for our cake from Freed's. We're having trouble finding a venue that will accept it. I am willing to pay a $1k cake cutting fee just to get this stupid cake into somewhere but I have been met with a flat "No." This is a licensed bakery, we are willing to bring all the plates/utensils and serve it ourselves so as not to take up a staff member (despite PAYING FOR THE VENUE, it's not like I'm showing up unannounced with 40 people and a cake). I understand storage concerns and contracts but this seems absolutely ridiculous. Why is a place willing to lose $10-15k over a cake?

And now that that rant is over, does anyone have recommendations for a reception venue for 40 that will take an outside cake? The wedding is at Bellagio but I guess we're willing to go elsewhere.

hi! my finance and i are planning a wedding weekend in las vegas around fremont st and i would love some insight/feedback on our plan before we lock in on venues and dates.

we are planning on an intimate ceremony at sure thing chapel with us plus our immediate family (10 people). we were thinking of booking the 30 minute session as neither of us are big on pictures / we aren’t really looking to do a full blown photo shoot or anything, just some quick, easy, and fun.

- i know a lot of people recommend the hour but if we aren’t taking photos is there a good reason not to just do the 30 minutes?

i recently discovered park on fremont, and was leaning towards a reception on their patio for additional guests (maybe 30-45 total). maybe have this space for 4 hours total immediately following wedding at sure thing?

- we haven’t decided a date and are leaning towards spring 2027. is it likely park on fremont is quite booked out for spring 2027 weekends?

- does anyone have an idea of pricing for park on fremont? we would love to stay under 8k for ceremony and gatherings if possible and we would cover food and drinks for our guests.

the day before the wedding, we were thinking of doing an easy/casual pre-wedding gathering at evel pie on their patio for all guests.

in general, does this seem like an okay plan or am i missing something? is this too much overkill on fremont street or will guests find it convenient? is there any locations nearby that might be a cheaper option than park on fremont but still have a fun vibe?

has anyone done something similar and have advice?!

Hi, me (Filipino) and my fiancé (Polish) are planning to get married next year. We have been discussing the pros and cons of getting married in the Ph and Pl, and seeing the amount of documents and hoops we need to go over, when it dawned on us to check out if Vegas is a possibility. This process is easier and cheaper. The document list got cut by 80% which greatly overthrew the initial plans of either Ph and Pl, which also cut costs. We also have like a month to pull this through.

For context, we just want the legality of it so we don’t really mind the so called „tacky” association with Vegas weddings, we are both very private and don’t plan to invite anyone in the original plan (except for at least 2 witnesses) and our dream wedding is basically to be married to each other hehe.

It sounds too good to be true and so we wanted to post on Reddit to ask for more unbiased opinions because we are totally blinded by the Vegas option at the moment. Thank you!

Ended up canceling our wedding- it wasn’t going to be huge just 50 of closest family and friends but it became too much stress.

Now planning to elope in Vegas, only thing is I did already buy my dress and want to still use it but I’m not sure

I always see the mini or more tighter style dresses for Vegas elopements. Did anyone else wear a ballgown? How did it go?
Attached a photo of the dress

Hello!

I'm getting married at Mon Bel Ami on June 13 followed by a wedding shoot at Fremont. I really want a photo of us with an Elvis impersonator but that's about it, I don't want to hire one to sing or officiate. I can tip or pay for the photo op with Elvis if needed but I just want something we can go walk to, say oh hey it's Elvis, and take a photo with him.

Any suggestions? I am not from US as I am coming in with a fiance visa and Google said there were some in Fremont but a Facebook group I asked said there are barely any Elvis impersonators on Fremont.

Would like to just take a photo with one. Thanks!
