Has anyone had success getting an outside wedding cake at Bellagio or Cosmo?

We have already ordered and paid for our cake from Freed's. We're having trouble finding a venue that will accept it. I am willing to pay a $1k cake cutting fee just to get this stupid cake into somewhere but I have been met with a flat "No." This is a licensed bakery, we are willing to bring all the plates/utensils and serve it ourselves so as not to take up a staff member (despite PAYING FOR THE VENUE, it's not like I'm showing up unannounced with 40 people and a cake). I understand storage concerns and contracts but this seems absolutely ridiculous. Why is a place willing to lose $10-15k over a cake?

And now that that rant is over, does anyone have recommendations for a reception venue for 40 that will take an outside cake? The wedding is at Bellagio but I guess we're willing to go elsewhere.
