a little while ago a distant relative mentioned that their son is applying to lums this is the same guy who didnt even allow his daughter to attend a co ed university

i talked to my mom about this telling her its clearly gender discrimination she disagreed and said no its not one has to be a bit more safe and cautious when it comes to daughters

i tried to give her the example of hazrat khadija ra but she countered by saying that hazrat khadija ra didnt travel alone there were no co ed universities in that era and she only did business after she got married

honestly i dont know enough specific details about her life to argue back please share your thoughts on this and give me some points i can use to respond to my mom🙏🏼
