WHICH DO I CHOOSE

hey guys, i’m looking for off campus housing, and i know each one will have their own bad reviews but which is really the best? and which ones should i avoid? please help i’m overwhelmed. i feel like i find a promising place and then i read a bunch of horrible reviews and im back at square one.

edit: budget is around 1k and i’m mostly looking for a 4x4. PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES

it seems that knight’s circle, the station alafaya, orion on orpington, and the accolade east are my possible top choices right now.

Graduate Apartments

Thinking about coming for my PhD in August, what are some good places to stay as a grad student? I want something furnished atleast the first 2 years, but most of the time the furnished apartments give dorm & are kind of shitty. Any recommendations? I would preferably not like to be somewhere with straight teenagers.

Are any new complexes good?

this is basically a follow up on my last post because i asked what the best off student housing/ apartment complex is because it’s been so overwhelming, but i also wanted to ask if any of the NEWER complexes any good? like the aperture, the rook, verve, etc.? all the reviews i see from these complexes are usually from people who just took a tour and put a good review for the tour itself, not actual residents because they are so new. help!

Looking for roommates that are locked in on life.

I’m a 22 y/o Computer Engineering junior at UCF looking for a room in a decent house near campus. I’m trying to keep rent between $450 and $650, but I'm willing to go up to $800 for the right setup.

I’m ideally looking to live with other STEM majors, entrepreneurs, or guys who are highly ambitious and locked in on their goals. I'm pretty laid back, but I want a living space that supports actually getting things done, so I'm trying to avoid a 24/7 party house or coming home to the living room being hotboxed every afternoon.

As a roommate, I’m quiet and actually enjoy keeping a clean space. I don't mind handling chores and will randomly wipe down common areas, mop, or organize things. Full transparency on the dishes: I might leave a pan in the sink for a day if I'm wiped out from classes, but I always get to it, I'm quick to clean up if someone nudges me, and I make sure the kitchen is reset by the weekend. I'm not a neat freak who complains about every little thing, in fact I don't particularly care if others clean up.

As for lifestyle stuff, I'm cool with people drinking or smoking, though I don’t smoke right now. I don't have any pets, but my girlfriend’s cat does occasionally visit when she stays over. I always make sure to vacuum and clean up after it so it never becomes anyone else's problem.

Outside of school, I spend most of my free time training MMA, working on my car, scaling my tech and business projects, or just working out. Overall, I'm just looking for solid, driven guys I can be friends with, or at least live peacefully with like adults. Hit me up if this sounds like a good fit.

Off campus housing

Hi! I’m planning to sign a lease for next year and I’ll be a sophomore at UCF. I’ve been looking at places like Orion on orpington and the Aves, but I know there are so many more around campus

If you’ve lived at any of these or know someone who has, I’d really appreciate hearing honest pros/cons. Im also open to any other recommendations!

I’d prefer something under 1k, I don’t mind if it’s a 4x4 3x3 as I’d be signing with no one and getting random roommates, and i would like a walk in closet Lol

Are Knights Circle and The 9 any good? I am an international student, so I can't go and check them out in person, and I do not know anyone in Orlando who can give me any sort of info.

My main priorities looking for a place to stay are cost, distance to campus, and distance to Walmart. So I like Knights Circle because Walmart and campus are a walkable distance (I will not have a car), and it is not that expensive. I like The 9 because it just looks nice, it has a campus shuttle stop, and there is a pretty good discount right now.

However, I have read a lot of bad reviews for both. My maximum budget is $1000 per month (including rent, all utilities, and fees), so I know that I will not go to the best place ever. BUT if you think that any of these is the WORST place ever, PLEASE let me know.

I am also open to other suggestions if you have any.

Looking for Summer Sublease (June 1 – July 31) | 1 Bedroom with Private Bathroom

I’m a male student moving to Orlando for a summer internship. I am looking for a short-term lease takeover for the summer. Needs to have a private bedroom and a private bathroom in a student apartment housing. Perfectly fine with a shared kitchen and living area. Will have a car, so need parking as well (let me know if it is included in the rent or additional).

If you have a room available during these dates, please DM me with the price and location. Thanks!

Knights Circle 4x4 Release. Fall 2026-Summer 2027. Co-ed, $870 per month

Hi! I'm looking to sublease my room at knights circle. It's in a co-ed 4x4 (one female roommate, two male). The rent is $870 a month. I'm mostly trying to sublease it for the whole 26-27 year, but if you're interested in also getting subleasing for this summer, it's available, and I'll comp part of the rent (May is paid for, plus I'll pay 300 towards June and July rent). Feel free to DM me if interested!

Can you use dining dollars off campus and reload them at any time. Give me the pros and cons. I’m thinking of only purchasing dining dollars for my kid who will be a BSN student staying in Tower 2 in either a 4-4 or 4-2 in which she will have access to her own refrigerator, microwave and air fryer. Units come with stove and refrigerator. All other I Items will be bought and shared for roommates use.

I’m moving into a 4x2 at the lofts in Orlando for the fall semester. Does anyone know if roommates are selected randomly? And if not does anyone want to chop it up to get to know each other and room together? I’d personally rather that then just be surprised 😂. (Male only)

Hello I'm looking for someone to take over my 4x4 unit lease for this summer 2026 (May 6-July 30). It is an all males unit. All the roommates are students at UCF and are friendly, outgoing people. As someone more quiet they were still easy to live with and chill to hang around. I'm willing to cover the first month's rent and the sublease fee for free.

Details:

  • Move-in date: May 6
  • Rent: $950/Month ($0 first month)
  • Utilities: ~$40/Month
  • Parking: $35/Month

The complex is close to the campus, holds regular events for residents to get together and have fun, and has a friendly community as well as many amenities.

Amenities:

  • Gym
  • Sauna
  • Pool
  • Basketball court
  • Billiard table
  • Study rooms
  • Shuttle bus

Message me if you're interested or want more info.
