Returned to Kramarczuk’s with my grandpa for DoorsOpen

So today I met my grandpa over in St. Paul and took the 61 Bus over to Southeast and Northeast Minneapolis for Doors Open. We first went to the Como Community Center, but then eventually took the 61 bus again over to Kramarczuk’s Sausage. My Grandpa got the Polish Kielbasa and I got the Grinder Sandwich. Both were great, with me trying a small bite of the Kielbasa that my grandpa got. My grandpa also got one their beers. When we left, we realized we were lucky enough to there when we did, as when we left there was a long line of people. We also took the 11 bus over to the Mississippi watershed, and then took the 32 and 83 buses back after we went to Antiquified Antiques to get my mom something for Mother’s Day. Anyways the food at Kramarczuk’s was great as always and I definitely see my some coming back here in the near future

East Hennepin Avenue and 2nd Street Southeast

Anyways like always, the details on how to get their on the bus

Right along the route 61, E Line, Route 4 and a 3 minute walk to the Route 11, 4 minutes to Route 10 and 17

PRIMAVERA PIZZA FROM WRECKTANGLE IN MINNEAPOLIS - from their secret menu!

This is our favorite pizza spot of all time, we’re wedding photographers and have traveled all over for work and had incredible pizza doing so, and maybe it’s the community bias BUT Wrecktangle in Minneapolis is just our favoriteeee! Today we got their insane crouching tiger secret menu pizza rn, it’s sweet pea sauce/cheese/tortellini/grape tomatoes/smoked zucchini/pickled onion/lemon wedge! Also added a photo at the end of one of their non secret menu item pizzas we recently had which was their Splinter (pepperoni, balsamic cherry tomato, burrata, Thai basil pesto, their house cheese blend)

Dine Out For Life MN is an annual fundraiser where participating restaurants across the state donate a portion of their proceeds to the Aliveness Project. Today, April 30, 2026, simply dining out helps provide vital food shelf access, hot meals, and stigma-free medical care for Minnesotans living with or at risk of HIV. It’s a meaningful and community-driven way to support health, safety, access, and food security for our Queer neighbors by doing something we all love to do - EAT OUT!

We started our day with a massive lunch at Christos Greek Restaurant, stopped by Company Bar, & closed out the day with takeout from Pagoda in Roseville while we watch the game!! Really good day, we’re also really really full 🍽️ Grateful for an incredible community filled with the very best people, care, and FOOD around ♥️💘

Lemonade stand location ideas

My son wants to do a lemonade stand this weekend, I said ok earlier this week & kinda forgot abt it until last night- I don’t want him upset or disappointed if nobody comes so I been trying to think of a good location to set up at where he can get a few customers & been stuck on location ideas all night! Now I’m not looking to pay my rent with this money LOL(meaning I’m not trying to make hundreds by any means) but I do want him to be happy with the outcome. Where’s some good locations where families or people in general may be? Doesn’t just have to be in Saint Paul but also wasn’t sure where to make this post at either so if u have any suggestions on where else to post that would be helpful. We are making homemade fresh lemonade regular & strawberry maybe blueberry as well. Also is $1 too cheap? $2? I know it prob depends on cup size I’m definitely not going to use small Dixie cups I want people to feel like they’re getting a good deal. I’m prob thinking way too much into this lol 😂

Also not too far from the Route 3,7 and 14 buses, and not too far from the Cedar Lake Regional Trail and River Pkwy Bike Path. 7 minutes to the 7 C/D Line and Route 22 buses, and 10 minutes to the E Line and route 4/61 buses

Couldn’t do tickets $$$$$
Want to watch it with a lively group
My best and closest spot is FoodSmith Bistro in West St Paul. Will they have the game on?
