Leveling kit Question

Leveling kit Question

I recently installed an 80 lb brush guard that caused my front end to drop another inch. The rake was already at least 3 inches and now it's about about 4 inches. I don't need it completely leveled and would prefer a 2.5-3 inch lift, but will settle for 2 inches. I won't be doing much offroading or towing, but may occasionally.

My questions are..

  1. What type/brand/model leveling kit would you suggest?

  2. Would replacing just the springs and maybe adding a 1 inch spacer be a safe option?

Thanks in advance!!

I daily drive my lowered 2016 Sierra 1500 just went to a car show and it turns heads but its missing something

I’m walking around the truck it looks clean and nice and respectable but it’s missing something. And as I’m getting ready to pack up and head home a cammed vette pulls into the parking lot and a light bulb went off in my head. Maybe I’ll do a mild heads and cam package. Not chasing horse power but I think some long tube headers and a nice chop to go with the truck will be very nice my only question/ concern would be is the drivability. Would you daily drive a cammed truck? Is it reliable enough to do this? We all know once you start tinkering with shit it starts to cause problems well. What exactly are they and if I go through with this how do I prevent them?

It's fun to be wrenching again

I used to wrench on trucks and built a few in my younger years that I'd take to shows, but then real adult life took over and put a stop to it for 15 years or so. Then I found this 2004 Sierra for next to nothing and decided to start a build with adult money. It's so dang fun.

Started out with changing lights...then drop shackles, then different wheels, grille, bumpers, and lower it with a proper window tint. Currently I'm paint matching a new set of mirrors for it then who knows what.

Need help deciding if I should grab this and how to fix it

I need a Topper for an 08 Tundra 5.5 Ft and I don't want to spend $600. I absolutely do not care what color it is or the condition of the paint. I just need to throw something on the bed of my truck. I'll be traveling for work for 3-4 months and would like to store some stuff in the back. Do you think adding plexiglass on this is doable or is it a lost cause? only $20

Looking for help with listing price. No info other than pics at the moment.

This was handed down to me and as much as I would love to fix it up and keep I don’t have the time or money to do so. I’m having some trouble finding good comps and am not very knowledgeable about these older trucks. I don’t have any info on condition other than the photos I have but I’m hoping to get a general sense of what to list it at with maybe a few different scenarios in mind (worst to best case condition) if that makes sense.

Also, I have someone coming to look at it tomorrow. I’ve never sold a vehicle so any advice with that would be great as well. I e already told them I won’t be ready to sell because I’m still figuring out how to price it.

If there is a better sub for this let me know and I will make the change. Thank you for your time!
