Urgent funds needed for my cat’s elbow surgery after accidental injury (X-rays & vet proof attached)

Urgent help needed for my cat's surgery. He accidentally ran away from home and returned with a severe left forelimb/elbow injury. After X-rays and examination at the Government Multi Speciality Veterinary Hospital, the vets advised pin fixation surgery this Friday.

I’m currently managing this on my internship stipend and have exhausted my savings on emergency care, medicines, and transport. The estimated remaining expense for surgery and post-op care is around ₹5,000–₹6,000.

Due to a car accident I went through in April, I had already exhausted most of my emergency funds and savings on medical and related expenses. Because of that, managing my cat’s sudden surgery and treatment costs has become extremely difficult for me financially right now.

I’ve attached the X-rays, vet referral letter, prescription, and hospital documents for transparency.

Even small contributions or shares would genuinely help me get him the treatment he needs. Thank you for reading and supporting.

Final Update (11:30 AM): We have now raised ₹7,400 for his surgery and treatment. The required amount has been reached as a kind soul contributed ₹3000 and I honestly cannot thank everyone enough for the kindness, support, shares, donations, and messages.

What started as a very stressful situation for me turned into something hopeful because of all of you. The surgery and immediate treatment expenses can now be managed properly.

Thank you again to every single person who helped directly or indirectly. I’ll continue posting updates about his recovery.

Why does Thiruvananthapuram still have a bad reputation for food?

I don’t really understand why Thiruvananthapuram gets so much criticism for its food scene. A lot of restaurants here are actually run by people from Malabar too, but the city still ends up getting a bad name when it comes to food. Why do you think that is?

Appupan with Dementia poured water all over Inverter and battery, mistaking light as fire

As it says it title

This a rant and venting out frustration at the situation

I was sleeping and I woke up to the sounds of my grandma shouting at grandpa, like enthu ningal cheythathu?

And I woke up at exactly 1:20 am.

I went down and checked (attached images)

He basically poured a lot of water on the inverter and battery unit.

I panicked and asked shall I call electrician, grandma is like let's wait for 8 in the morning.

I didn't know what to do, first I removed the plugs connecting the inverter.

Then on main circuit boards there was no lights.

I took pictures and asked chatgpt on what to do (because of course I'm not an electrician)

I just switched off the bottom right corner switch.

And here I am sweating and can't fall asleep, battery at 30%

For those wondering, grandpa has been staying in this house past 60 years, he has no memory of almost anything

I'm staying with grandparents because there is house renovation happening at my house, so it's just me and both grandparents

Called KSEB regarding power outage was asked to go back to Bengal.

Unbelievable racism coming from a government employee, i have been living here for past 10 years and i didnt expect this. I got this response from KSEB pettah. Was given incorrect answer that the power will not be back today.

I spoke respectfully and didn't raise my voice or anything. Kept calm throughout.

This is not acceptable. How do i file a formal complaint?

UPDATE: WE FOUND COOKIE ❤️

After one of the hardest and longest days, Cookie is finally back home safe.

We had almost decided to end the search for the day. It was our last turn, late at night, when we finally found her around 2:00 AM — about 1 km away, but very close to the last lead where someone had seen three dogs chasing her around 4:30 PM.

We truly thought we were running out of hope, but we kept going. Finding her in that final moment felt unreal. She was tired, scared, but safe — and that’s all that matters.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped, shared posts, gave leads, checked nearby areas, commented, and kept us hopeful. Every message and effort meant so much to us. We are incredibly grateful.

Cookie is home now. ❤️

I have brought 4 air tags for all four of my dogs after this incident.

During that time not even a single candidate bother on Trivandrum

There are no single good shops or malls.

We have to go to other districts for 100-300km just to buy good products.

Private Schools were dominant and no student is willing to study government schools.

Roads were shit, Garbage was lying around, No investors.

We used to wait hours just to get good buses and private bus was the only option, but sadly limited stops

After that City started booming

The port's construction got faster..

Cleaner streets

Buses.

Good Government school that is miles better than overpriced private school that doesn't have facilities.

Good shops that we don't have to travel long

Driving Test Nearing!!!

I only have 5 days till my test. I feel so underprepared. First of all, the steering balance. Small turns are fine but I don't know how much to turn in a curvy road. Then there is gear shifting. I am finding it difficult to remember the last gear used and to shift without looking.

And my driving sir isn't helping. He didn't teach me much until the test was nearing and now he mocks me because I couldn't find my steering balance.

And i am so frustrated because the rto officer is supposedly strict.

Any last minute saving tips bcoz I can't afford to fail due to certain reasons.

Did kfc Venjaramoodu scam me?

Hey guys today went to KFC Venjaramoodu since it's Wednesday and there are offers. I haven't been to KFC in a very long time. So i went today evening and they showed me some papers with print outs they've taken of the KFC offers available. But I felt suspicious since the prices seemed high than I remember. So I asked them and they were hesitant to answer properly. They told me that the prices are high since the prices of commodities like chicken is high and that they have made their own combo for this Wednesday offers. I ordered but afterwards I had a gut feeling that something was wrong and so I checked the official KFC website and there the price was significantly lower. For the price I paid for the 4 piece chicken, two medium fries, two regular Pepsi and two dips I could have got 10 piece chicken from the online site. They didn't tell me about this offer and said that only this offer which they have made is available. The prices are normal prices and not offer prices when i checked later But .Did KFC Venjaramoodu scam me? Or dis they hike their prices like this? The bill is attached. Thanks
