Should I Order a Tovala??

I'm a newly single mom to a teenager who will eat anything. I work full time and would like to try a meal plan that doesn't involve me basically cooking like Hungry Root does.

I'm trying to decide if its worth the extra money to try Tovala instead of Tempo meals? Has anyone tried both?

Do you feel like Tovala offers fair healthy meal choices?

I've been trying to research weekly costs since the meals online dont list prices....do most people pay around $13-15/serving? I typically try to keep our dinners around $20 total, but with prices rising at the store and not having to keep the mental load of planning a week of meals, I feel like this might be worth the extra expense.

Appreciate any info yall can think of!!

Chicken and Rice Soup

I think the Chicken and Rice soup is my favorite meal right now! I order a couple every time it shows up but I wish I could order it more often. So good and comforting!

What are your favorite meals that you are always excited to see?

We were so excited about the Mother's Day Brunch Box... We don't ever order anything besides the regular meals and we had a little something special planned... Well apparently they broke this week's shipments up bc it was an extra box?? And that second package was damaged... That box had two dinners and HALF the brunch in it. We got the quiches, spinach and the butter and jam... No crumb cakes or pancakes. I was able to get a credit but this just sucks... Imma go cry into my butter and jam packets...

First meals arrived with no issues. This week, FedEx didn't deliver the meals. Received a credit, which is fine, but is this a common problem? If it is I may have to reconsider something more reliable.

I live alone so generally order either 4 or 6 meals every other week. How many meals per week do I need to order to see a drop in the meal prices? A lot of them freeze well so I can order more than I usually do if it saves money
