It’s not hard to hold people accountable

Here’s the brief context: there is currently a It’s a massive scandal involving one of Thailand wealthiest families, the owners of Singha Beer.

A well known marine activist named Psi Scott publicly accused his older brother, Pi Scott, of sexually abusing him for years during their childhood.

The older brother wife, who is a famous Thai actress(Mild Lapassalan) posted a statement and “evidence” on her official Instagram account, but they weren’t real evidence, they didn’t actually proved that the accusations were fake, Instead she showed a bunch of documents, showing how the mother was suing Psi for money to “prove” that the younger brother was just bitter about the inheritance war.

That Instagram post is exactly what brought the younger brother, Psi, to leak the secret audio recording to prove the sexual abuse actually happened, and the older brother tried to denied calling the proofs “childish teasing”

The problem is that a lot of public figures in the Thai entertainment industry, including actors and actresses, liked and some even commented supporting Pi. This includes Kao, the actress from Love Design. (And other people that are on this slides)

Not only did she like the post, but she also left a supportive comment.(But after being called out she both unliked and deleted the comment without saying anything).

Now, I’m not saying that we should hate on these public figures more than the actual aggressor, but let’s not act like they shouldn’t be called out and hold accountable

Supporting an abuser is as serious as being one. All we’re asking is for fans to hold their favs accountable. I’m not one of those people who agree with threats and stuff like that, but constructive criticism are deserved. But I’ve seen a lot of people that obviously are defending their favs.

Reason why on this post I’m mentioned Kao is because Iiked her, I love love Design and I liked KaoJane, I’m very much disappointed, but since i distanced myself from parasocial relationships I don’t workship public figures anymore. At the end of the day, we don't actually know these people, this is just another reminder that these public figures aren’t superior to us.

Kao, about the 'like' incident.

Translate (by Kao herself):

>Regarding the incident in which I liked and commented on a post related to the ongoing issue, I would like to clarify that the intention behind commenting with a heart emoji was solely to offer encouragement to Mild. And the use of the heart emoji together with the clapping emoji on the video was intended as I perceived an effort to protect Mild after she had been subjected to severe and disproportionate criticism, extending even to her child.
I would like to firmly affirm that there was never any intention to take sides, lend support to any particular party, or place blame on any individual. Furthermore, there was absolutely no intention to express support for any form of harassment, abuse, or violence.
After receiving additional information and becoming aware of the resulting impact, I later understood that the actions could be interpreted in a way that did not align with my original intention or understanding. The comments and likes were therefore deleted immediately in order to prevent further misunderstanding toward those affected and all parties who may have felt impacted or uncomfortable.
I acknowledges the impact caused by the situation and would like to formally apologize to victim who were directly affected, as well as to anyone who may have experienced misunderstanding or discomfort as a result of this incident.
I sincerely accepts all feedback and will exercise greater caution and consideration in the use of social media moving forward. I would also like to reiterate that I do not support harassment of any kind and do not condone violence in any form.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for understanding and for offering constructive reminders with good intentions.

Is it good enough?

>

The thing she didn't do though, is apologize directly to Psi (or even mentioned them), the victim.

Best Male Character in The Thai GLs ✨

If I have to say the best and most well-written male character in Thai GLs, it must be Prince Anan from The Loyal Pin.

Man 😩, this man literally has the heart of an angel 🤧. I mean, considering the 1950s setting, a man who grew up in a patriarchal society — and that too in a royal family — realistically couldn’t have been much better than him.

But I do agree that he became a more progressive and mature person because of his studies in England. Living in a foreign country and meeting different kinds of people made him more open-minded.

He loved Anin so much that if she had asked him to bring down the moon and stars from the sky, he would have done it without hesitation 🤧. He is literally the definition of the perfect big brother 😭💖. Even though there is a 10-year age gap between Anan and Anin, he became Anin’s best friend — someone she could always share her feelings, thoughts, and pain with 😭😭😭.

**What kind of a big brother values his sister more than anything else 💎🎀? He literally built a palace for Anin before she returned home for the first time as her graduation gift even before completing her graduation . At that time, he was about to marry Khun Parawatee, yet he prioritized finishing the Pine Palace before Anin’s arrival. He even fixed his wedding date according to Anin’s semester holidays so she could attend without any worries 🫠.

When he found out about Anin and Pin’s relationship, he didn’t stop Anin. Instead, he protected his sister. He made sure no one would suspect Anin and Pin’s relationship. And the most important thing is that he never confronted Anin about Pin until Anin herself opened up to him 🫂.

He knew the pain of not being able to be with the person you love, so he wished Anin would never have to suffer the same fate as him. The reason he didn’t take a stand for Anin in Episode 12 was because he was worried about his mother’s health. But afterward, he quickly went to apologize to and comfort Anin, who was devastated by Pin’s decision.

He even tried to cheer Anin up regarding Pin 🥹. In the novels, it is Prince Anan who first finds out about KITKAT KUEA 😤 being a womanizer and informs Anin about it. He helped Anin gather evidence against Kuea to stop Pin’s marriage to him 😇.

It is also mentioned in the novel that if Savitree had not come to stop the wedding, Prince Anan himself would have stopped the marriage without caring about his duties or reputation. He was ready to put his position in danger just for Anin’s sake 🫠.

He cleverly and smoothly convinced his father to accept Pin as Anin’s partner 🤧. From beginning to end, he always supported Anin. This man even named his daughter “Alinrada” just so her name would match his sister’s name, “Anilaphat” 🫠.

He loved and cared for Anin so deeply that even his father and the rest of the family sometimes wondered whether Anin was his sister or his daughter 😩. He is literally the best brother in the world 💎. I could rant about him nonstop 🛐.

Now tell me, where can I find a brother like him 😭😭😭? I genuinely don’t think a brother could be more perfect than this 💖.

Who is your favorite male character from Thai GLs? Comment below 😊. He is my top 1 that's why I only mentioned him. Kindly share your thoughts on this ☺️.

I've been watching this clip over and over and they're so adorable wtf. Oh Englot I owe you an apology, I truly was not familiar with your game.

4E : The Earth 🌎>>>The Water 🌊

Does anybody else feel the same way as me about this? 😮‍💨

I don’t know why, but The Earth worked better for me than The Water. I love Englot so dearly, but sadly The Water couldn’t fully live up to my expectations. 🤧

Maybe it’s because I never expected to love AppleMim as DinRose and The Earth this much in the first place. I didn’t really have any huge expectations for them from the beginning, but they completely blew my mind with their performances in The Earth.

That said, Englot delivered some of their best acting performances so far in The Water, especially Charlotte in EP 6. God, that episode made me cry so badly 😭. Up until EP 6, I was really enjoying The Water, but I got a little disappointed with the last two episodes, especially EP 7.

Even The Earth had similar issues, but despite the heavy and rushed final episodes and ending, I still enjoyed The Earth more overall, to be honest. I honestly think both series would’ve benefited a lot from having at least 10 episodes so the story could flow properly without feeling rushed.

One thing I loved about The Earth was the cousin interactions, which have always been my favorite part. The drama between the main characters and supporting characters also felt more balanced.

Meanwhile, The Water had fewer cousin interactions and less screen time for them, which felt unsatisfying to me. But the Englot scenes were genuinely so good and cute 🤧. I also noticed that the directing team made several changes from the novel.

Sometimes those changes made sense, but other times they really didn’t work for me. Maybe it’s because I was attached to certain aspects of the novel. Personally, I don’t think Fah’s character needed that much focus in the series. What makes this anthology series more special than other GLs is mainly the cousins’ bond, but Fah’s character sometimes made it feel like the cousins became more distant from each other.

Nam is closer to Din, while Lom is closer to Fai. Din and Nam are literally like two heartbeats moving at the same pace. I really missed their novel interactions in the series.

And honestly, Lada feels much more consistent in the novel than in the series. In the novel, she never even had the thought of poisoning the food in the first place, unlike in the adaptation.

One change I actually loved, though, was Khun Pao’s approach toward Lada. Also, Nam feels way more expressive in the series compared to the novel. And PLEASE… they should’ve kept that RAMYEON SCENE in the series 😩.

My personal ratings for both series:

The Earth — 8.5/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

The Water — 8.0/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Anyways, what are your thoughts on this? 🤔

Which Thai GL did you stop watching midway, but after finishing it, realized it was a MASTERPIECE? 🧐

I started The Loyal Pin after finishing GAP: The Series, which was my introduction to Thai GLs. It was only the second Thai GL I watched, and at that time I was still very new to Thai GL media. I guess period dramas weren’t really my type back then. I also didn’t understand the Thai royal system at the beginning of the series because I was unfamiliar with Thai culture. Those royal titles and ranks confused me a lot 🥲.

But I still continued watching because, at that time, there weren’t many GLs released compared to now. I really liked the soft romance trope in The Loyal Pin because, from the series I had seen so far, most main couples felt kind of toxic compared to AninPin 🤧.

One thing I noticed very clearly was how much Becky Armstrong’s acting skills improved from her previous project, GAP: The Series ☺️ She really did a great job playing Princess Anin. And Freen Sarocha — no words for her acting skills seriously 🛐 She literally expressed every emotion even with fewer dialogues.

Even though I liked The Loyal Pin, after around 10 episodes it started to feel stretched to me 😭 Like they were dragging the story too much. I was okay with the sweet and cute moments between Anin and Pin, but at one point it became too sweet for me to handle. It felt like there was nothing except romantic scenes 🤧 I felt like the story itself wasn’t progressing in a very interesting way, so I stopped watching right before the real drama started 😭.

Then, after 6 months, an Instagram reel popped up on my feed about favorite lines from Thai GLs. I opened the comment section, and it was filled with so many iconic dialogues. I don’t remember most of them clearly, but one line caught my attention instantly 😩

“The feelings I have for Khun Pin are like a fabric woven with gold and silver threads ✨...”

I immediately searched for the series again, and that’s when I found out the dialogue was from The Loyal Pin. So I decided to resume watching it again, at least just to see that scene in Episode 12.

I restarted from Episode 11, and oh my God, I loved the way they presented Lanna culture. The scenery was shot so beautifully. And when Aunt Pat found out about them, that’s when the real drama truly began 🥲 Episode 12 became my all-time favorite episode, especially the climax where Anin used the cloth analogy to express her feelings 💖 Becky DESERVED an Oscar for that scene.

I felt so many emotions throughout Episodes 13 and 14. The anguish I felt was insane 🤧 Pin accepting her fate without questioning it and Anin dropping the ring — my reaction was literally, “What the hell am I watching?” 😭😭😭 It was so heartbreaking. Then after Episode 15, I finally recovered from the pain caused by the previous episodes.

And honestly, I loved Episode 16 the most 💖 The way they handled every issue in that single episode didn’t feel rushed at all. Instead, every scene felt meaningful. The way both Anin and Pin fought together for their love was so wholesome. I also have to admit that all the members of the Sawettawarit family were green flags. They accepted Pin surprisingly quickly without dragging the conflict unnecessarily. Episode 16 had such a perfect ending, with AninPin living together with their niece like a complete little family 🫂🤧.

After rewatching the series many times, I always discover something new about Thai culture, royal traditions, food, and many other details. There’s honestly so much to learn from this series 🤧

After all of this, I can proudly say that The Loyal Pin is a masterpiece ✨ I mean, no other Thai GL has felt this perfect to me, even after watching many GLs released until now. The cast, production, directing team, music team — everything was incredible. And having 16 episodes gave the show enough time for proper character development, a balanced pace, and a satisfying ending. I honestly think it’s almost impossible to create another series on the same level as The Loyal Pin in the future. It truly feels like a one-of-a-kind drama 🛐.

I wasn’t even a FreenBecky stan before, but I swear they became my ultimate biases because of The Loyal Pin. I mean, how can everything about them feel so perfect? ✨🤧 Now I completely understand why they are called the OGs.

I still have so much more to say about this series, but I tried to keep this as short as possible 😭 It’s my all-time favorite series. And now I’m waiting for The Air to premiere so impatiently 🤧.

So, which series made you feel like this? Kindly share your thoughts in the comments ☺️

Why “US” Became a Healing Drama for So Many Viewers — and Why EmiBonnie Felt So Real

One year after watching US the Series, I still think it’s one of the most emotionally healing Thai GL dramas ever made.

https://preview.redd.it/5qu2nerp4w0h1.jpg?width=1169&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f38fb84318eafa6b3db34e4cbcb2a1332a7e7a08

Not because the plot is groundbreaking.

Not because it’s dramatic or shocking.

But because of how genuinely warm and emotionally safe the relationship feels.

In a genre often filled with misunderstandings, toxic dynamics, emotional chaos, and painful breakups, US felt surprisingly gentle. Watching Pam and Rak slowly fall in love honestly made many viewers—including me—want to fall in love too.

The story itself is actually quite dramatic on paper.

Rak (Bonnie Pattraphus) is the daughter of a wealthy hospital director but leaves home because of family conflict. Pam (Emi Thasorn) lost her parents and approaches Rak’s family while carrying emotional baggage tied to revenge.

There are multiple setups that could have easily turned into exhausting melodrama:

  • “I fell in love with my brother’s girlfriend.”
  • “I fell in love with the daughter of the person connected to my parents’ death.”
  • fear of same-sex love
  • family pressure
  • separation

But somehow, US rarely feels emotionally cruel.

Every time the story approaches a dramatic explosion, it softens itself through understanding, communication, affection, or forgiveness. Pam and Rak consistently choose empathy over emotional manipulation.

That’s probably why so many viewers found this series comforting.

Their relationship feels unusually mature for Thai GL.

They communicate honestly.
They don’t constantly jump to conclusions.
They protect each other instinctively.
Even during conflict, you can still feel the love underneath everything.

For me, PamRak might genuinely be one of the healthiest couples in Thai GL.

https://preview.redd.it/ch26kcvt5w0h1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b5971833cc8c0b06d04ab16e14d46198e5a0f797

https://preview.redd.it/2ry192ww5w0h1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=24e0928fb2c24fe04da4e8101716519f3f7dcb9c

And then there’s EmiBonnie.

Honestly… their chemistry is absurd.

Not in an overly sexualized way. Not in a fanservice-heavy way.

They simply feel real.

The eye contact.
The tiny pauses.
The unconscious smiles.
The soft physical touches.
The way they naturally move toward each other in emotional scenes.

Many moments felt less like “acting” and more like watching two people genuinely in love.

Some of their gazes honestly felt like soul-level kisses.

One of the most unforgettable scenes is still the EP3 drunken kiss.

Rak drunkenly confesses her feelings and keeps asking Pam not to hate her. Pam finally loses control of all the emotions she has been suppressing and kisses her.

The scene is emotional rather than flashy. Awkward, vulnerable, trembling, full of hesitation and longing.

It’s still one of the most moving kiss scenes I’ve seen in Thai GL.

What impressed me even more was learning that many intimate scenes in US were partially improvised. Apparently, the famous watermelon kiss in EP7 was originally just written as “cute watermelon eating.”

EmiBonnie somehow turned that into one of the sweetest kiss scenes in the series.

That natural intimacy is impossible to fake.

https://preview.redd.it/n8x9p0bg5w0h1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b4529261addc85b5ec566e204aca58e19d6cc75

Another reason US stands out is the directing style.

Director Kanittha Kwunyoo captures intimacy between women with remarkable tenderness. The series never feels overly performative or exaggerated. Instead, it creates a quiet emotional atmosphere that lesbian viewers immediately understand.

The lighting, framing, soundtrack, and pacing all feel soft and intimate, almost like an art film at times.

And the OSTs are incredible.

“Like a Bird,” played during the EP3 kiss scene, perfectly amplifies the emotional tension instead of overpowering it. Emi and Bonnie are also genuinely strong singers, especially Emi, whose voice is honestly one of the best among Thai GL actresses right now.

But beyond the romance, I think what truly made US special was its emotional warmth.

Watching Pam care for her grandmother.
Watching Rak reconcile with her mother.
Watching two people repeatedly choose love instead of pride.

The show creates a world that feels gentle.

Even the conflicts rarely leave emotional scars on the audience.

Maybe that’s why so many people described US as “healing.”

And honestly? I understand completely.

A lot of Thai GL dramas are entertaining.
Some are addictive.
Some are chaotic fun.

But US made me feel emotionally cared for as a viewer.

That’s much rarer.

And EmiBonnie?

They somehow made the entire relationship feel so natural that many viewers started joking that they weren’t acting anymore.

At some point, watching EmiBonnie fall in love genuinely felt sweeter than falling in love myself.

If you’ve already watched US, I’d love to hear your thoughts after one year.

And if anyone is interested, I wrote a much longer full review here:

The controversy over likes and the younger brother’s abuse allegations.

I’ve been thinking about making this post even though I know I’ll probably get criticism and excuses from some people, but please, wherever you see people talking about this situation, focus on the real issue: a man who was sexually abused by his older brother, who even admitted it in a recording.

I think it’s absurd that people are focusing more on likes and reducing such a serious issue to “who liked what” and “who didn’t.” I’m sorry, but that is not helping the victim or showing solidarity in any meaningful way. If you truly want to help, then share the face of this abuser and spread the victim’s story so more people are aware of what happened.

I also want to mention something else (and I’m not saying everyone is doing this): please stop excusing the actors and actresses who liked those posts by saying things like “sometimes people like things without looking.” These are grown adults, not babies. It’s obvious they knew about the situation, searched the wife’s name themselves, liked the posts, and even commented. Some of the apologies made by actors and actresses have been incredibly weak, using the same excuse that they “didn’t know about the situation” as if they were children.

Please, if you’re going to talk about this topic or post about it online, focus on the man who committed the abuse—not the likes. Don’t let the real issue get lost, because shifting all the attention to social media likes instead of the abuse itself only helps the abuser slowly disappear from the real spotlight.

These two are gonna be the end of me

Alright, here we are again with another episode of “ShashaGorya are gonna ruin me and honestly? I’m totally fine with that.”

First of all, can we talk about how sexy and intense that dance scene in the secret bar was? The way they kept staring at each other the entire time… their eyes were literally making love. MilkLove just keep getting better and better, I’m obsessed with them.

Now, about the rest of the episode: >!I finally felt so satisfied seeing Gorya choose Shasha, even after being the “victim” of her little game. But I’ll forgive Shasha only if all of this was actually meant to push Gorya into making a choice. Let’s call it a harmless little scheme for a good cause, as long as her intentions are real!!<

I already love Shasha exactly as she is, but Gorya? What a character. She’s incredible. So well written. Every time she says something, it makes sense. She has such a strong personality, and Love brings all of that out perfectly.

I love her so much she’s honestly one of my favorite GL characters from the past few years.
