Guess they weren't able to keep up with me ..
Well finally broke down and got my first pair of Tecovas and have worn them several days a week for about 3 months but just lost the front of one sole. I'll file a warranty with them but I'm really hoping it doesn't take a month to get them repaired or that I don't have to break in a new pair. I think I'm disappointed but still not sure, just never thought I would have to backup with a pair of 3 year old Florsheims that are 1/3 the price.

Need some opinions here - went and bought a pair of these shoes. The employee there said “we tell people if they don’t have to use a shoe horn to get in them, they’re too big”. Based on this info and some heel slip, they put me in a 9.5.
Day two of wearing them a full day and I’ve gotta say, my feet HURT. For those of you that have a pair of these, how many sizes down below your regular shoe size did you go, how long did they take to stretch, and how much did they stretch? I’m tempted to take them back in and either ask them to go ahead and stretch them out, or return them.

Howdy,
First pair of cowboy boots I’ve owned in over 10 years. Grew up out in the country working livestock and wearing boots damn near every day, so this feels like coming home a little bit.
I live in the suburbs now, but the Texas roots never really leaves you. Forgot how much I missed the feel and craftsmanship of a good pair of boots.
Only thing I wish they had was a little more arch support, but overall I’m loving them.

So I wear these probably 3 times a week in rotation, with an old beat up pair of acme circle, A branded, and my Ariat heritage ropers, for work here they are after a well worked year. Over all comfortably and wear and tear, I am extremely happy with how they've held up and the looks

Hi, I purchased the pecan ostrich zip boots from Tecovas (the Dean) which is still to be delivered. This is my first time owning boots and however having second thoughts on if I should go for the traditional Wyatt or the Earl. They din't have them in stock in my size when I visited the store, so didn't try them. Would love to get some recommendations to make the best choice for my first boot. Thanks!
