What site are y'all going to buy accessories for your benchmade knives? About to buy my 1st one & will go with a cheaper model if I can change the colors on it.
Specifically looking for Bailout accessories.
I just learned about sole savers. Which ones are yall using? I have no idea what brand to get or what to look for. Any help or advise for a 1st timer is appreciated.
So I went down a bit of a rabbit hole the other day. I have been looking for a pair of Emmitts in Pecan and have been looking at all the sites and had seen some color differences. So I started wondering if I can use the code inside the decipher anything about the boot. After a looking at a few here is what I think I have figured out. Any help would be appreciated.
The code looks something like this: M10095MID 11D 579719 S 0925
Here is what I think that means:
-1st group is the color code, I think I have figured those out they are as follows. I have seen 2 different ones for Mahogony, so either I'm wrong or maybe the shorter one was an older version and they went to a new format later on.
-2nd group is the size and width
-3rd group is 6 digits and is some kind of serial number. Maybe a combination of the lot code and batch #
-4th group I have only seen the letter S. I'm thinking this maybe could be a factory code, but I have only looked at the Emmitt and its possible they are all made in the same factory. Also I have no idea how many factorys Tecovas has, this may just be a room or section of the factory.
-5th group looks to be a 4 digit date code. 2 digit month and 2 digit year.
If anyone can post their #s with stuff that they know, like boot color and when purchased, we can figure out if I have the color codes right and the date code theory right.
