Premature goat fetus; freezer or fridge for three days prior to transport?

My friend lives about an hour away on a farm. One of her mama goats gave birth to a "pink, hairless," very premature baby. She isn't coming back this way until Wednesday.

Do I:

  1. ask her to freeze it (damaging the tissues?)

  2. ask her to put it in the fridge (unsure how fast fetal tissue decomposes)

  3. drive up there tonight and get it (I could do this but I had not budgeted a trip like that into this tank of gas)

I also only have 70% isopropyl handy as I am a slacker who doesn't usually get these kinds of opportunities.
