New Addiction - Better late then never!?

Long story short - AT BEST I have been in and out of most of my hobbies, much less RC, FOR YEARS

Took a leap this past weekend…

Fresh out the box:

Axial SCX30

Traxxas TRX4M

Loving them both - I can hardly imagine the upgrades and their impacts!?

Searching through options and outlets for cases and bags for storage and carry.

Looking forward to the scale/craft/realism side of it all as well - started a little crawler course in the backyard!

There is SO MUCH nostalgia and potential wrapped up in this hobby!! (w/ vintage bodies especially & 3D printing!?!)

My Uncle had an F-150 just like this HIGH TRAIL!!! (need the white side decals to make it OFFICIAL)

Wheels, tyres and brass.

First mods to my defender have landed.

Some OGRC beadlocks with brass rings plus 57mm injora maverix and green silicone inserts. I fitted these first and I have to say what a difference just this mod made. Absolutely night a day grip from the tyres compared to stock. I'm new to proper crawling mods so I'm pretty blown away by them to be honest.

Full brass bits for the axles from Ali, £20 for the lots vs ~£60 for injora so quite pleased, went together absolutely fine but I feel some steering angle has been lost. I think a few minutes with a file will fix that though.

Bearings throughout and a trailer finishes off the first evolution and I have to say I'm really pleased with the jump in performance.

I have plans to use this as a scale tow rig with the trailer for a more competitive build but I'm blown away with how much more capable this thing is. A new motor, driveshafts, servo and some lower gearing and that'll be it for this one I think until I get the next rig built. No point having a trailer and nothing to put on it....

I need some help with light controller

I got this light controller from Amazon to pair with Radiolink RC6GS v2 radio.

No matter how I try to set it, I can’t get it to work “on/off” with the buttons. I adjusted End points to 0 and 100, then adjust sub trim down, but I can find the sweet spot. It’s either on, and won’t shut off, or only on with the button held.

Can someone give me some insight?
