Are the DLCs worth it?

Been just over a week since I bought the game for the Switch 2 (was on sale 90% off), I just finished maxing out everything so there is nowhere else to spend my coins. The only thing I haven’t beaten is 2 of the 3 final 4 pepper levels in Metalheads lab which is where I am kind of stuck at now. So am wondering should I just keep throwing myself at it or try the DLCs and if so which ones or in which order. I only paid about $3.50 for the original game so each DLC going to basically cost just as much, so are they worth doing, how much more content do they add?

I just now got this game, and it is already one of my favorite roguelites. I love the fast pace, the way that the dialogs update over time, and how the lte are so many builds and synergies.

I started by playing ooze, because of the poison on dash effect. Took out Shredder after a few runs.

I now found Utrom more fun to work with. The dash attack ends up being more powerful with upgrades, and the combo with Astral is just amazing.

I usually end up clearing stages perfectly just by dashing. And I melted Gauntlet Shredder the first time I saw him.

Is there a better way to play? Or aire interesting build? Thanks.

I just got the game yesterday and have cleared story mode once I probably only have 40 skills across all levels unlocked. How long did it take for anyone that bought everything or even most things to max out? I’ve got 2 hrs in and feel like I still have 300 skill levels to buy 😂

Took me quite a few goes to get to / get past Bebop & Rocksteady, and I still fail to get to them sometimes. The first time I got past them I got a couple of rooms into rooftops and haven't managed to make it that far since. My health is now maxed until I can get Shredder claws or whatever that 'currency' is, which I assume means getting past Shredder.

Only been using Raphael so far, solo play only, going for fire and critical hit stuff when I can, but I don't think I've got the hang of builds at all. I go with the artifact that gives you improved dodge chances.

Any tips?

I have tried co-op a few times on my switch. And so far I did t like it. It’s kinda laggy. And enemies, especially bosses seem to have considerably more hp.

Then it might be a coincidence, but so far all (random) people that joined me weren’t much help. During the first boss all of them died fairly early on, resulting to me in soloing that annoying boss that suddenly got a lot more hp now.

And then every stage after that, needless to say, they weren’t really helpful either since they just continued dying all the time.

Since the game is so laggy with co-op, and it often happens that I got disconnected, I didn’t bother playing co-op anymore.

Having said all of this, is co-op really worse than playing solo? Or did I just have some bad luck?

Just picked up the game for $3 on the PS store. Been a turtle fan since '84. I am new to the game and the genre in general. Do I start from the beginning every time for a "run" or is there a way to pick up where I left off that I'm missing? Is the point to keep doing runs and leveling up your turtle?

Friend and I decided to get this game to try out since it is on sale. I saw that I was the only one getting dreamer coins and my friend didnt. When he started his own save file, only the dragon coin transferred over and not the dreamer coin. He does not even have the option to click on the altar to spend the dreamer coins. Is this a bug?
