r/Sum41

I know I know, it’s the first album without Dave. I think Deryck does really well for both the lead and rhythm parts on the album and I think Tom Thacker was more than adequate in the subsequent tours they did. Stevo’s drumming is very tight, and personally I think pull the curtain, walking disaster, and speak of the devil are some of their best work. What do you think?

The song bottles to the ground from nofx at some points sounds like a sum 41 song, bot I can't wrap my head around which one, it's at 0:44 and 1:24 seconds anyone else hear it, and any ideas what song it is?

This is my second fav Sum 41 album behind Underclass Hero. I love everything about this album. Some of the drum machines and synthetic elements I don’t personally like. I also like the Paint It Black cover but I don’t think it fits on this album at all. But other than those 2 flaws I had no issues with this album and adore it.

Thoughts?

I’ve been wondering this for a while. They have retired as a band, what’s the point of still having a social media manager and still posting on their socials? It seems they’re trying to capitalize on the y2k nostalgic pop punk thingy through their posts and they’re always posting about an album or a song anniversary, but why are they so active? You’d think if a band retired then their socials would not post anymore
