Has there ever been a supercouple that cheated on each other?

I only watch Passions and all the supercouples (Ethan/Theresa, Luis/Sheridan) never cheated on each other. They have, however, cheated on their partners to be with their "soulmate". Are there examples of supercouples who did cheat on each other despite their partner being their true love?

General Hospital Exclusive: Alexa Havins Says Dante and Lulu Are ‘Endgame’

https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/general-hospital-exclusive-alexa-havins-says-dante-and-lulu-are-endgame/

>On General Hospital, the relationship between Lulu Spencer and Dante Falconeri is on the rocks after Dante found out that Lulu was hiding a whopper of a secret from him: their son, Rocco, shot Cullum. But even as the tension between the former spouses skyrockets, Lulu’s portrayer, Alexa Havins, tells Soap Opera Digest that she’s Team “Lante” all the way!

LANTE? I don't watch GH regularly but will do so now because my portmanteau for them is DELULU. 😉

EDIT: Is the phrase "Delulu is the new solulu" still being used?

What’s one soap affair you absolutely couldn’t stand?

For me, it’ll always be Brooke and Deacon on The Bold and the Beautiful. I know soaps are supposed to be messy, but that one just didn’t sit right with me at all. The fact that he was her son-in-law already made it uncomfortable before anything even really went down.

And I’m blaming both of them. Deacon didn’t just get pulled into it, he started it too. Either way, they both broke Bridget and the fallout from that was rough to watch. That’s how Hope was conceived, and it just made the whole situation even more messed up.

When Bridget found out through the baby monitor scene, I remember watching that and just waiting for it to come out. She had every right to be mad at both of them.

Even when the show tried to bring Brooke and Deacon back around each other later on, I still couldn’t get into it. It was always more uncomfortable than entertaining, and honestly it’s one of those storylines I wish they never did.

What’s your favorite “caught in the act” moment in soap history?

For me, it’s when Bridget overhears Brooke and Deacon through that infamous baby monitor on The Bold and the Beautiful. I still remember how insane that reveal was—she finds out her mom and husband have been sleeping together behind her back, and then it just keeps getting worse.

Because on top of that, she realizes he’s the father of Brooke’s baby (Hope). That moment was just pure chaos.

Jennifer Finnigan really sold that scene too—the shock, the heartbreak… everything just hits her at once and it still sticks with me.

And honestly, I’ll never understand how Bridget forgave Brooke after that. I don’t care what anyone says, no mother should ever do that to her own daughter. It’s been 24 years and I still haven’t gotten over it.

For Mothers Day who’s your favourite soap mother character?

Pretty much the title, who’s your favourite soap mum? Or you can be more specific and say who’s your favourite soap mother daughter and mother son relationships?

I just thought it might be fun to ask

All My Children Fans From The 1990s

I didn't begin watching the show until the late 1990s.

Can any of you help me identify these characters and/or actors from the 1996 AMC opening sequence? I've tried but not gotten far.

What’s one AMC couple you absolutely couldn’t stand?

I have two, and I know this is unpopular, but Tad and Dixie never worked for me. I know they’re considered iconic, but they were toxic to each other half the time. It was always cheating, lies, breakups, misunderstandings, and the same emotional chaos on repeat. I just never bought them as this perfect love story everyone talks about.

And I can’t stand Zach and Kendall either. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever hated a character the way I hate Zach. To me, he always came off controlling and manipulative, like everything was justified as “love” or “protecting Kendall,” even when it crossed serious lines. Their relationship felt more like constant power struggles and emotional games than actual romance, and I just never saw the chemistry people hype up.

Question: What couple from AMC that you can’t stand?

Yeah… for me it’s Sonny & Emily. That pairing just never worked. Felt forced and kinda uncomfortable from the start. I try to forget about this pairing, but everytime they pops up on my recommendation? I think about how gross it was. Sonny sleeping with Jason’s sister like what? Whose idea was to put them together?

The writers should have never done that in my opinion because it felt so forced. This was the most disgusting pairing in soap history.

So what about you? What two characters that didn’t had no business being paired together?

I only watched Passions during the Rome storyline in 2006, but I know about the Blackmailer and the whole thing about Julian Crane's penis being reattached backwards, or something.

And I of course know that Esme and Nikolas on GH grossed a lot of fans out because of the age difference, the fact that Esme was Spencer's girlfriend (though their relationship seemed to be pretty much over), and that she got pregnant as a result. Plus the scene itself was super gross and the way they kept flashing back to it, which I think was done on purpose.

✨ Heather Locklear: Aaron Spelling’s Golden Girl

Heather Locklear starred in three Aaron Spelling productions and was often referred to as “Aaron Spelling’s good luck charm.” Whenever one of his shows needed a boost, Heather seemed to deliver. When Melrose Place was struggling in the ratings, her arrival helped bring new energy and attention to the series.

Heather had a strong working relationship with Spelling and appeared on both Dynasty and T. J. Hooker during the same period. The production schedules were carefully coordinated so she could film her scenes on Dynasty—where she was not needed in every episode—while continuing her work on T. J. Hooker.

What character did you enjoy the most?

Possible unpopular opinion

I might get heat for this, but I have to say it at least once......I lothed Bridget Reardon. She was an obnoxious, jealous, hateful bully. She never really faced lasting consequences for how she acted, I genuinely don't know how she is such a favorite outside her being related to Maureen(there are better members of the Reardon family). Because she is just an awful person with a handful of decent moments. I think the show was going for the opposite of that & I guess it worked on a lot of people(but not me). The writing bending over backwards for her didn't help either. As soon as she had her trap baby with Hart it's like she became some fucking saint all of Springfield should feel sorry for and it drove me so crazy. I felt bad for her when Maureen died and when Nadine took Peter but even then, she kinda held her own & got her way again, custody battle notwithstanding, once Vanessa entered the picture). But outside of that, literally all her problems were self-inflicted, and I could not give a damn. Plus, they made Julie a pycho in some ass backwards justification as to why Bridget treated her like trash for over 3 years. Like fuck that.
