Merch Update From Sully's

Hi everyone, this is Sully's Brand- the Section 10 merch team. With the new drop coming out today, we wanted to hop in here and give you guys an update on the merch side of things, specifically in regards to the delay of the April drop.

Every drop we do with Section 10 is custom built for quality, which is why we have to do a 2-3 week pre-order window every time. Nothing new is ever sitting on shelves when we announce them. With the April drop, we've introduced new items- a polo and quarter-zip. Both of these, along with the hats, are embroidered. Sourcing the blanks and the embroidery work for this drop took longer than we anticipated. We're starting to get these items this week, but we know that is later than our anticipated 2-3 week window from April 10th. We appreciate you guys being so patient with these delays and we're excited to show you what's next.

P.S We know you guys have a lot of questions in regards to the Patreon- anyone who is in the $25+ tier will be receiving a discount in our store as long as you're in the $25+ tier. All you need to do is sign in with the same email you used for Patreon and it should apply at checkout. If you have any issues you can always email us at support@sullysbrand.com and we'll do our best to help you. Beyond the discount- we have some really exciting things cooking up for you guys on Patreon, so stay tuned!

Baseball Savant

I understand the benefits of Baseball Savant and reading into the “under the hood” metrics; however, I think it is overly relied on and used as a coping mechanism by most fans. Tyler always goes on about how Roman Anthony’s Baseball Savant looks incredible. He uses this as a crutch to explain that Roman will eventually turn it around since most of his metrics are red (I don’t necessarily disagree since we know he’s good). I just can’t get behind that take completely when you see Roman hit routine ground ball after routine ground ball 105 mph directly into the ground at the 2nd baseman. That exit velo makes his metrics look good, but no time during the actual play did you think it was going to be a hit. This is used to justify poor performance for guys like Roman and Tatis, and on the other hand, used to put down guys like Lucas Giolito even though we had a 26 game sample size in 2025 which showed that he was a pretty good pitcher (10-4 with a 3.41 ERA).

Sometimes what you see with your eyes on the field is more important than the metrics over a long sample size. I think too many fans, and I’m sure front offices, overly rely on Baseball Savant-type metrics.

Not a big fan of Jerry’s energy towards Roman. I understand not playing well and the optics of him on the town aren’t great right now, but the kid is 21 and our franchise cornerstone. I personally will be defending him with my life.

Please whoever is spitting dip into a bottle on mic stop or mute it in post

Listen on headphones so maybe I can only hear it but episodes as of late this makes my skin crawl haha. Idk if it’s Jerry or Coley but mute the background noise in post or just do it off mic please. It’s almost like chewing on pods.

Coley gets Unwarranted Hate

Hate the fact everyone shits on Coley and all of his takes, and that’s including the fellas on the pod. It looks like y’all are draining the happiness from his soul and it’s not fair. #TeamColey

Bregman poll Results

Interesting split with 43 votes from the community. Just over 50% (23) would press a button and put Bregman on the team right now, while 20/43 seem to think that the red flags outweigh any benefit his intangibles would provide.

Albeit, small sample but feel like that’s a substantial shift in sentiment from the first couple weeks of the season.

Thanks to all who voted, always interested in where the temperature of the community is at.

Sorry, Mr Bears, Steve is innocent

Let’s be real here folks, Steve told everyone it was likely gonna rain out today. Mr Bears is acting like an old Grandma who yells at the weatherman when they report bad weather.

Steve ain’t making the weather, he’s just reporting it. Appeal that suspension when it happens, King.

At the end of the announcement for T, Jared said we’ve been trying to do this for a couple years but now seeing where the budget is going now we can. Was that a shot at Underdog and the flyover or something more ?

LOOKING BACK🤔 🤔 🤔

makes you wonder if craig never re-signed/ extended alex cora in 2024 and let him walk while craig hired his own staff and manager would rafael devers still be a boston red sox and the chaos in kansas city last year never would’ve occurred.
i do believe the handling of communication with cora being an advocate for alex bregman but at the same time refused to directly be upfront with raffy to DH/ get reps at first was the beginning of the end. while a lot of the backlash was on breslow for not being upfront with devers on one side the long tenor manager should’ve had that conversation and handle things accordingly than let it all spiral out which lead to a trade.

I might just be taking this too seriously but do his votes for KKSMVP bug anyone else?

Greg Weissert (robbing WC40 of a unanimous KKSMVP), Tom Werner, and Alec Gamboa as his votes far? Wish either he would take it more serious or that they’d get someone who would in his place.
