POSITIVE VIBES ONLY

POSITIVE VIBES ONLY

UNFORTUNATELY we lost the series technically we can still split in july but the morale of the story is the rays are the rays for a reason and given performances from tolle & early and offense wasn’t shut out 3 days in a row im pleased.. its funny that looking at our record of 17-23 im fine with it because the teams hasn’t gotten hot offensively there has been stretches but the team needs to focus on putting the ball in play than aiming for the streets. the one area of concern is the bullpen is heavily taxed and i don’t trust weissert in the 7th not kelly with slaten coming back is a good get but i feel craig outta be searching for some depth or help.

mickey gasper had a great game today and i wouldn’t mind if the solution is contreras on the 10 day IL & activating roman anthony if the injury is worse than expected call around craig to see who you can get because we cannot be playing sogard and monasterio platoon when the defense has been one if not only the bright spot.

trevor story needs to change his stance because not only is he late to every pitch but he sets up so far off the plate and the stance paired with his timing has been off for years now and not only can’t he hit but costly errors we cannot have..

phillies, braves, royals, twins the next 4 upcoming series i like what i seen of the offense even though in stretches but these next two are big series and if we stay in distance of a game or 3 games outta the wild card CRAIG GONNA BUY he job depends on it…

LOOKING BACK🤔 🤔 🤔

makes you wonder if craig never re-signed/ extended alex cora in 2024 and let him walk while craig hired his own staff and manager would rafael devers still be a boston red sox and the chaos in kansas city last year never would’ve occurred.
i do believe the handling of communication with cora being an advocate for alex bregman but at the same time refused to directly be upfront with raffy to DH/ get reps at first was the beginning of the end. while a lot of the backlash was on breslow for not being upfront with devers on one side the long tenor manager should’ve had that conversation and handle things accordingly than let it all spiral out which lead to a trade.

we stand 14-21 currently but if the team continues to put at bats together and the rotation while crochet is hurt but we get sonny back.. i’m optimistic.

roman injury up in the air doesn’t necessarily bother me bc it gets yoshida to play and duran has turned a corner lately. roman has started to elevate the ball but the lack of power and his strikeouts has been a let down to start so maybe time off would be best for him but for the outfielders bc the logjam solved itself out. if roman is hurt i’ll bring up campbell no and or ifs about it.

it amazes me how awful the AL is and orioles, tigers, & more will come down to earth we must hope our team plays above expectations thus far

Oh brother…. we got about 130 more games of this season and they are defending duran and cora till the end of time on there. talk of trade deadline and the teams outlook. i mean do we expect breslow to pack it in open a blue moon and watch the organization go down in flames? this is a make or break months for breslow to make something horrible into something great. i don’t know why we defending alex cora who NEEDED to go years ago and duran who is hitting a buck and coming for his defense when he is 29?

they expect breslow to sell on all the players at the deadline when i hate to break it to ya they won’t and it will cost breslow his job if he doesn’t turn this around. astros suck just like us there has been a lot of examples of bad teams to start to turn the ship around…

am i the only one who thinks we legit might not see casas back in a red sox uniform ever again? let me preface i wish casas gets healthy bc the team needs power in which he gives us but man its so unfortunate with the setbacks and i know for a fact AC definitely wasn’t keen on him so im hoping he is back soon …. the lack of updates its like will we ever see him again?

Congrats on tracy on his first win as manager in the big leagues! crazy 24 hours and gonna be event more crazy in the couple weeks with all this media reports and drama. honestly believed the team that was out there today feels like a weight was lifted off of them while still processing what went down. the organization and team needed this win and i have full faith as i said before that the team beed d a new voice and roman anthony praise for tracy and the additions of tinkering the lineup as well as being back the speed element of the sox who would go crazy on the bases im happy.

onto toronto blue jays….
