From everything I understand the 4014 will be displayed next to 4012! This is a once in a lifetime event and we hope to see as many people at Steamtown as possible!
Train rides at 10:30, 11:30, 1:15 and 2:30!
Roundhouse Floor Tours at 10:00, 12:00, and 3:00!
Locomotive Shop Tours at 11:00 an 2:00!
Tour the cab of Union Pacific Big Boy 4012 any time during the day from 9:30-4:00! Get ready for the eventual arrival of Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 planned for later this spring/early summer!

Join us at Steamtown for Springfest! Event highlights include Big Boy 4012 Cab tours (get your cab tour before 4014 comes to town to really get a sense of what it’s like in the cab of a Big Boy), locomotive back shop tours, a special ground floor tour of the Roundhouse areas, Scranton Limited train rides, and the unveiling of a special 250th Anniversary semiquincentennial caboose!
Baldwin 26 has had its boiler patch finished and tested over the off season. It will be FRA certified and the 26 will be back together in time. Photos have been circulating on the Steamtown Forum Facebook group for those interested.
