I was gifted this watch by my boss as a work bonus and a show of good faith. It came with box and papers and a appraisal. I was recently told by a friend that he doesn’t think it’s real and now has me worried. Wanted to get some more opinions since I am not as knowledgeable about the tell tale signs. I just picked up this guy, purchased from the original owner. 1973 1675. The guy was about 80 years old and very hard to understand when he spoke, I did find out he paid $279 for it back in 73 or 74. I tried to question him on service but he would ramble on about other watches and couldnt answer alot of questions about it. He told me the bracelet was purchased last year so I know that is new, it looks like the hands, and bezel insert are service parts due to the color, what say you about the dial? It doesnt look 100% to me but the patina looks correct. What exactly do I have here?

I think, Are there any collectors still interested in collecting this watch?

One of my relatives handed this to me the other day. I’ve never seen this dial before. I did find some pictures of it online without the Tritium mark. Anybody have any ideas/background history about this?

Thinking about changing out the two-tone bracelet, but not sure if I should go rubber or Alcantara - or if it's a terrible idea altogether.

I can’t seem to find an actual model number the rear casing has no writing so idk what I’m looking at here I own plenty of other watches but this one seems to have stumped me
