Growing/ restarting a business. Refuse to give in and shut it down.
Hi.
I’m UK based. I started a limited clothing company back in 2021 and made a few years of decent progress. I hit 1k followers on social media. 50+ sales which at the time felt incredible.
The important part, I enjoyed it. I oddly even enjoyed managing the small stresses of running it to. Day to day designing, sampling, customers, social media content. All of it was something that meant something to me.
I have a full time job that earns minimum pay but it doesn’t cut it for me, but the one issue is life gets in the way. Next to no capital to invest into the brand. I’m a hardworking parent who commits to his child and family.
Time would be there but I’d need advice on how to keep going.
I’ve spent so much time procrastinating and going back and forth with the idea of just closing the company and giving in but a part of me knows how much it would mean to make something from it.
If it never makes millions, it wouldn’t be an issue, as long as I can support my family and put a roof over their head from it, that’s all that matters.
I need advice, direction. Anything from one small business owner to another.
