my game just hit +13k CCU and im banned by automated moderation, cant update anything

hey, im in a weird spot and honestly running out of ideas so im posting here

my puzzle game has been growing fast, just hit 12k ccu and still climbing. the thing is, 3 days ago roblox automated moderation system flagged an asset as sexual content and banned my account for a week. the asset id they reference is literally my own game id so i dont even know what specific asset triggered it

I cant access the dashboard, cant update the game, cant fix bugs, cant push events, nothing. meanwhile the game keeps growing and the community is asking why theres no updates

I've tried everything, support tickets, emails to devrelations, linkedin, no response from anyone in 3+ days. cant even talk to a human. I would post on the official devforum but i still need to wait a few more days before I can publish there, so reddit is basically my only option right now

has anyone been in a similar situation? whats the fastest way to get a human review on these automated bans? theres serious bugs in the game right now that i need to fix asap and theres no way for me to do anything about it while the ban is active

any advice appreciated

Preparing different combat styles for my new game — what do you think?

Working on a sword combat style with custom animations and slash effects. Still improving it, but I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

Reworked the sword animations based on your feedback - much smoother now!

Took the feedback seriously and worked on smoothing out the animations. Still a lot to improve but I think it's looking better! Let me know what you think 👇

Built a runtime procedural world generator for Roblox (5888×5888 editable voxel terrain in 13-15s) — looking for technical feedback

So, I’ve been working on a project that absolutely needs a massive procedural world to work. About a month ago, I hit a wall. A big one. I needed a huge map generated at runtime, and every solution I found—plugins, open-source stuff, "profe" tutorials—either killed the server heartbeat or just looked like garbage.

I had a choice: shrink the game or build the tech myself. I (stupidly?) chose the second one.

I’ve spent the last 29 days obsessed with optimization and hexagonal grids. I literally had to stop coding my actual game mechanics just to solve this. It’s been a lot of sleepless nights dealing with noise functions and chunk replication, but I finally have something:

It’s generating a 5888×5888 map with 6 biomes in about 14.5 seconds.

https://reddit.com/link/1taev41/video/3cf3c4cpek0h1/player

I used a hexagonal distribution instead of the standard square grid because the spacing and memory usage were just way more efficient for what I’m doing. Also, it’s all voxel-based, so it’s fully editable after it spawns.

x2 speed in some parts

I’m finally getting back to the actual "game" part of my project, but I wanted to share this here. I honestly can’t tell if I just solved a real problem or if I spent a month over-engineering a niche tool that only makes sense in my head.

Be honest with me:

  1. What kind of stress tests would you run to break this? I want to know where it fails.
  2. For those who do procedural stuff: any performance bottlenecks you see with this scale in Roblox?
  3. Is this something worth cleaning up and releasing as a module, or should I just keep it as internal tech and move on?

If you’ve ever had to stop being a "game dev" to become a "tools engineer" just to save your project, you know the feeling. Thoughts?

One last thing—if you had a system like this that could spit out a massive, editable world in seconds, what kind of game would you build with it? > Personally, I’m using it for my own project because I needed that specific scale, but I’m curious to see if you guys would go the survival route, exploration, or something totally different.

I need help finding these textures!

Ive been trying to find these old textures to make an authentic seeming "retro" game but there are no premade assets with these textures nor decals uploaded that i could find with them. I tried screenshotting and uploading into a texture but it just looks wrong and when i expand them it just looks streatched and warped. Does anyone have any help?

My first model for Roblox Studio

This is my first Blender model for Roblox Studio. Even though the elements are just joined, I believe it is acceptable.

u/CreatSide — 2 days ago

as you guys may know, due to robloxes new rule , pls donate will be closing down in 24 days. but i have a solution. me and you (the dev) can make a game that succeeds it. instead of having passes, our game can contain portals within stands to teleport to the users game and then the donator can donate within the shop. i think this could work. but if we both work together, im requesting 10 percent of all revenue , and you can keep the other 90. hmu if interested , 10 percent can be negotiable.

(this is not free labour, just a game idea which we could both make a ton of money from, u dont even have to work with me if u dont want , just an idea so people can still donate to others post may 29th)

Hey everyone,

I made a Roblox Studio UI plugin called ForgeUI because I wanted a faster way to edit GuiObjects without constantly jumping back and forth between the viewport and the Properties panel.

It adds a floating shortcut bar next to the selected UI object, so common actions are always close to the UI you’re editing.

Some of the things it can do:

- Quick GUI actions directly in the viewport

- SmartScale tools for responsive UI workflows

- Convert Position and Size between Scale and Offset

- Color and styling tools

- Text tools like TextSize, TextScaled, Font, Bold and Italic

- UIListLayout tools

- Custom pinned shortcuts

I’m releasing it for free on Creator Hub for now while I collect feedback and improve it.

If you build UI in Roblox Studio, I’d love to hear what feels useful, what feels unnecessary, and what you would add.

want to create my own game!

i wanna make a fashion based game (yes, im aware how it sounds lmfao) but i've been thinking about this for ages, have like a huge pinterest board on how i want my things to look and everything. i've never coded in my life, but i feel learning now would be pretty useful because i plan to do something closer to it as my career. i'm an architecture student, but then again, never did any 3d modelling but i'm willing to learn it for this game, i'm sure i'd need it in the future and in a way, it'd put me ahead of my peers too.

i have a simple playable idea for now, just the models, maybe like 7 types of outfit, about 15 themes max and stuff. i want it to be less stressful and more of something you play to unwind, basically? so i'm still trying to figure out the logistics of it. but i need help in terms of where to even start? like im so stuck. i cant use the present roblox figures, i love the simplicity in how dti models and clothes looks (does anyone know how they made it?) at the same time, i want mine to look a little bit more different, perhaps more complex for sure.

i just want some help in where to start, please! and also if someone's interested and stuff, i would love to be friends!! i need people to help me stay motivated and tell me where i'm going wrong lmao

My 11 year old has been working on a Roblox game for the past few weeks. Teaching himself to script. He made a really cool looking game. He had me mess around in it some when he was still working on it. Well he went to publish it tonight and he says he has lost so much progress because it published in R15 when he made R6. (I DONT KNOW WHAT ANY OF THIS MEANS he tried to explain it to me but it just seems really complicated lol)

Anyways..is there any way to fix this? He says that the way it is publishing is breaking the animations and stuff that he created in the game and it is unplayable.
