Rebounding as a complement to strength training

I'm considering purchasing a rebounder in hopes that it will help with lymph flow and loosen up my stiff knees. I've been strength training consistently for the last 9 years and have strong legs, chest etc. and I walk so am not sedentary and looking to start an exercise program or build strength. However, even though I stretch I'm not as flexible as I would like. Do you think a rebounder would help me achieve a greater degree of mobility?

Is BCAN really bad and Jumpsport the holy Grail of rebounders?

I'm 39 years old, 5'3", 130 lbs, and I'm looking to get into rebounding. I've watched lots of videos and reviews, and they all place Jumpsport as the best of the best, and BCAN just like jumping on concrete.

Since this is a new thing I'm going to try i don't want to spend $400+ just to get started .

My goal is to do the music based rhythmic types of workouts. My daughter who's 97lbs also will use it, so my concern is getting one that's too stiff would make the experience not enjoyable.

Is the cheaper BCAN really that bad that it would make me not want to continue?

All the videos I've watched make me want Jumpsport so much.

I've been checking FB Marketplace but no luck so far. This is going to be my Mother's Day gift.

Got my new Needak but it has a “sway” in the frame: how to fix?

I just got my first Needak (upgraded from the BCAN), and the trampoline mat feels great. The only thing I am concerned about is when I jump the frame has a slight sway to it, whereas every trampoline I’ve been on before is solidly stationary.

I got off the trampoline and it looked like maybe two of the legs didn’t quite firmly touch the ground the way the others did, which might be causing it.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? I’m not sure if there’s something I can do or not, as I also don’t want to make it worse. It’s also not terrible, just distracting.

Quality Rebounder

I am thinking about getting a rebounder. Does anyone have one like this that folds up? Just wondering if it actually works well.

Needak vs Cellerciser: is there anyone who has tried both of these?

I am looking for a new trampoline and I am down to these two (I prefer springs hence no Bellicon).

If anyone has tried jumping on both of these can you tell me: which one has a better bounce?

I’ve tried a few cheaper trampolines and honestly I feel like the mat is way too firm and it feels like I’m jumping on concrete or something.

Which of these - Needak or Cellerciser - do you feel like is not quite as firm and allows for a decent bounce? (Like you can get you feet decently high off the mat). Thanks!

I started with a cheaper one from marketplace made by Onetwofit to make sure I like it and I get on it every day!! I will even do a soft health bounce sometimes when watching tv.

The upgrade to the Jumpsport whoa!! It feels amazingly different in a good way. Some of the moves from videos I had a hard time doing before and tested it out and I can do it.

I love the pink too!

I picked jumpsport after YouTube videos comparing and I felt it would suit me best. 51 years old 5’4” and 148 pounds in case that’s important to anyone reading this.

Ad for a used rebounder. 2nd picture looks like a different rebounder which is in good shape. OP apparently didn't look at their ad (and included this 1st picture by mistake) or has a different meaning for "Great condition no issues".

Hello,

I had a Cellerciser that I just got rid of because I really did not enjoy the spring system and found it loud and hard on my lower back. I am only 107 lbs so there was no bounce when I would jump on it. I am now looking for a bungee rebounder. I have watched countless YouTube videos and everyone recommends something different. The Bellicon seems great but very pricey. Are the BCan or JumpSport pro comparable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi! I’m hoping someone with experience can help me figure out the right rebounder.

I started with a small bungee rebounder (SkyBound) before I really knew much about them. I liked the bounce for higher intensity, but it was too small, didn’t give me enough room for workouts and overall the bounce felt a bit too hard.

I recently tried Leaps and Rebounds, and unfortunately it’s not working for me at all. It feels too stiff, flat, and loud, which is challenging for me because I’m autistic and have sensory processing issues, especially with sound and how things feel in my body.

I’m looking for:

• A quiet rebounder (low noise is important)

• A softer, more “forgiving” bounce for nervous system regulation

• Something that brings me back up smoothly (not a dead or flat feel)

• Still capable of higher intensity workouts if possible (but I’d prioritize comfort if I had to choose between the two

• A larger jumping surface (44"–48"+), because I struggle with balance and don’t want to feel like I’m stepping off.

I’m currently deciding between BCAN (soft bounce), JumpSport (adjustable tension), and Bellicon (softer feel), but I’m really stuck. Or possibly something else.

If you’ve used any of these, I’d love to know:

How does the bounce actually feel (soft vs firm vs “dead”)?

• Is JumpSport still firm even on lower tension settings?

• Does Bellicon feel smooth and buoyant, or more like resistance (like bouncing in sand)?

• Have you had to replace bungees often, and how was customer service?

For reference, I’m 5’8” and currently around 205–210 lbs, working on weight loss and will continue to lose and tone, and working on strengthening my knees and ankles due to injuries.

I’m on a budget, so if I go with something more expensive I’d likely do payments, because i dont want the cost to stop me if it will be the right fit. I just want to make sure I’m choosing something that’s worth it and won’t end up being another return.

I’d really appreciate any feedback.

Thank you so much!

Urban Rebounder old vs new(?)

It looks like the Urban rebounder was originally spring based with good springs and attachment style. Now they seem to have gone bungee.

Is an old/used rebounder worth getting? Anyone know what they used to cost new?

Hey guys, I 💖 love my Needak. It truly is a work horse and built really well. I’m 99 lbs and lately my lower back and spine are aching. It was suggested I use silicone spray around the springs to see if it would ease up on the bounce. I have the foldable model and the spring has very little give. It’s for a heavier person. I should have done more research. It’s in great shape and even has a carrier. My back is in agony today & there is no JOY in jumping or causing myself pain. This is an older model and trying to change out the springs for softer springs does NOT seem easy to do. I guess what I’m asking is has anyone tried silicone spray on the springs?? Also??? What might be a fair price if I have to put this on Facebook marketplace? Thanks for reading

Now my question is, if she comeback after 1-2 years should i try again? or tell me your story, of it s close to mine. ( the problem for me is that i cant be with someone if they let me go and have feelings for another person, but she was the only ex who break in good terms) i know she was single but i was hurt that she move on so fast, tell me your stories or oppinions 🫡
