Urban Rebounder old vs new(?)
It looks like the Urban rebounder was originally spring based with good springs and attachment style. Now they seem to have gone bungee.
Is an old/used rebounder worth getting? Anyone know what they used to cost new?

So I've been pretty unhappy with most Hawaiian Mai Tais. None of them have tasted right to me. To be honest, I've found most fruit juices to not be as sweet as they used to be as one of the issues.
So I gave up and decided I needed to make my own version.
My basis is 3 recipes, the 1972 Royal Hawaiian Surf Room version, the current Royal Hawaiian version, and an overly juicy but tasty Hawaii for Visitors version.
After three homemade versions, I'm finally happy (to be honest the first picture is v2, but the second is v3.)
½ oz Lime Juice
¼ oz Lemon Juice
1½ oz Orange Juice
2¼ oz Pineapple Juice
½ oz Orgeat
3/4 oz Orange Curacao
3/4 oz Dark Jamaican Rum
3/4 oz Light Rum
3/4 oz Whaler's Rum (float) [Substitute either Gosling's (which is the closest, and honestly better) or a Demerara Rum]
½ oz Grenadine (bottom)
Roll all ingredients except grenadine and Whaler's rum with ice in a shaker.
Pour in large highball glass and top with ice.
Sink grenadine to the bottom with a spoon and float Whaler's rum on top, also with a spoon.
Garnish with cherry, pineapple wedge and lime or orange slice.
The other day I was at a local store and asked about Don Q Reserva 7, which they didn't have on the shelf.
They were getting supplies at the time and showed me a new box of a new Don Q they just got.
The bottle looked like Reserva 7, but it was simply called "Reserva".
I didn't ask to see the bottle figuring it was cheaper and the information would be online, but it isn't. It's not even on Don Q's website.
Anyone know anything about it? Are they upgrading Don Q Gold or downgrading Reserva 7 by making 7 years no longer the youngest rum in the blend?
Edit:
I know Jeff Beachbum Berry is mostly anti-Puerto Rican rums in his books, and recommends substituting from other places. He does seem to be okay with Bacardi Ocho and Ron Del Barrilito 3 Star.
That said, the books I have of his don't ever mention Don Q. I am fond of their Cristal & 151, which I always keep on hand.
I've been starting to wonder if Reserva 7 is a better Tiki rum than Bacardi 8-year. There's not much from Bacardi I really like.
I had one of Costco/Kirkland's previous 12-year Panama rums that I swore tasted like Bacardi Ocho and used that as a subtitute. Costco's current version is a 20-year I haven't tried and has mixed review.
Suggestions?
