Tonight in Toronto 🥺 Called Amina’s Services but they came too late- he had already left ….

Scared me when I was out beside the shed. 😆🫢🥰

Aw, those little feet in the air! Flat on her back and chewing some bark without a care in the world. Raccoons are the sweetest creatures!

PS: That’s a catio in the background, and this is a wild raccoon hanging out in the yard. And yes, they can and do get into the catio. No cat injuries to date. They seem to avoid all the local pets.

He emptied it. I went out the next morning to refill it, knowing that I'd have to move it out of reach. He was waiting and watching at the back of the yard in full daylight. By the time I'd grabbed my phone, he was sucking out the feeder again. It was moved to a pole that same day.

Must've happened long ago. He gets along quite well and is still reasonably friendly, all things considered.

Rocky is so spoiled!

60 degrees outside, keeps crying. Can’t tell if it’s sick or just sleeping and having a dream. I don’t know much about raccoons! I was going to call wildlife but don’t know if I should because what if the mom shows up somehow :(

We think she’s a mom? We have a mom and her babies (from last year, so not quite babies anymore) who live under our deck. Not entirely sure if this is the mom or one of her babies but we’re thinking it’s a momma raccoon who might be pregnant since she’s out here in the daytime (and looking extra large)

This mama came by with her juvenile kit today. Not sure why they are out at 2:30pm. She is healing from a patch of fur torn off her back (consistent with a mating injury), so I am wondering if she is expecting. What do you think?

Bandit is bringing her 4 to the door now and they are being super well behaved. They’ve been eating along with the barn cats for a while and everyone seems to get along.
