When Anti's go about changing an author's work directly

The first is the initial 'release'

Second is initial mod removal

Third is the sub breaking its own rules to allow it

Red is the Anti artist team working on it

Important to reiterate:

This is not a fanwork, an au or anything like that.

An art group is taking the original work and took it upon themselves to cut out 'problematic content' so 'they' (Antis) can read Made In Abyss by releasing a 'safe' version that they can point to so they won't be labelled or grouped with the 'icky' side.

hwhat..

Antis drawing lolis to prove a point.. i thought they said drawing lolis and sexualizing them was bad? Why are they drawing it now if they're against it 🤨🤨

An adult finding a younger adult attractive? Oh the horror! House, how could you do this??

And the worst part is that if OP wasn't comfortable with the relationship, which is perfectly valid, they could've just cancelled the romance? You have the option to not let crushes start in the game

But noo, we need to do a moral grandstand instead...

Although I don't ship them, I think Maomao and House would get along pretty well

😭??

I hate that subreddit so much, this was honestly my final straw, now blocked it lmao. She's a cute and short anime girl, she looks young but she honestly doesn't come come off as a child. Also, the whole dress point this person is trying to make is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Women are allowed to wear cute dresses, are we now forbidding self expression? And not to mention lolita fashion is a *huge* thing in Japan, not only do you see it in this character but almost every anime ever has a character that depicts it. And I didn't add one of the pictures featured in the post but it was literally just the character sitting in a bar with a mature and basic red dress on with a glass of whiskey in front of her, like dude, I fully believe this character is an adult.

ANDDD if you ever seen any of the classic anime shows the entire female cast of characters look pretty much exactly like this, stylizing a character to better represent that character's personality, traits, backstory, and ect is fucking fine. You literally see it everywhere in media, (pigtails=immature, big eyes=innocent, thin lips=prudish, heterochromia=two contrasting personalities, and on and on) but as soon as it is an animated show these people lose their shit?

DNIs ruined my motivation for artfight

So basically, they added a rule this year to make most DNIs allowed on artfight. Now I am fine with people using them on social media. But in an art event I feel like it will just cause drama and less chances to make art. Might stick to art trades or something similar instead.

i hate tiktok antis

i can't stand when im trynna look for an artist but ts always pops up 🙄 or seeing tiktokers "fix" their problematic art it's so infuriating to see. I want to follow an artist but i have to go through all the tiktok bs first 🫩🫩

What's a show you love but would rarely interact with its fandom?

For me it's bluey, mainly because I selfship with Digger who is somewhere between the ages of 12-14

The fandom would eat me alive if they ever found out

Why does it matter so much about fictional characters sexualization and age nowadays???

Like Damm I wanna make a webtoon and can understand horikoshi and other manga authors wanting to draw their characters in sexy poses, its fun it's like playing with dolls! But I don't know where this people came from, saying that's being a pervert.

To me "teenage" anime characters feel like 30 year old actors playing teens, in behavior and physique, like look me in the eye, and tell me if this looks like a kid.

Funny story that made me realize it, when I was about to go to high school, I thought I would live a romcom and boys would look like in anime boys, silly innocent me was really disappointed bc of course they were smaller, and nothing like shojos or free lol

out of all the things to get mad about in this game, this is what u get pissy over? 😭

i'm EAL and the community in which i live is also made up of non-white people, meaning we obviously have different "standards" of words usage (thus i didn't know that hot has sexual connotations). that's whatever. i don't care about the downvotes on my reply lol.

but even then i still don't get the outrage? 😭 genuinely how do people pearl-clutch at calling a character hot?? even when i was an "anti" (tbh i never really cared about what people enjoyed, i just found it very weird) i didn't give two shits about people calling characters hot so i genuinely can't fathom the mindset needed to get mad at THIS (especially in yandere simulator - like priorities, people!)

I saw this argument today

If you dont know, this conversation was about the artist nubcat

Edit: the person responded back by saying they already knew about the artist's alt-right views after the pink user told the other guy in the comments. but stuck to their own point. Saying that the artist needed to seek help due to the art they created.

The pink user responded back with saying that it was clear that they had different views and wanted to end the conversation off from there

the flavour of reaction images located under every darkship post ever

these reaction images are funny if it isn't an anti using them

u/TheTrumpetEater — 17 hours ago

Is the minor in the room with us right now?

I seriously dislike antis conflating minor and character who is a minor together because it leads to stupid shit like artists getting cancelled because they drew a child character in a swimsuit once. Also shonen/shojo as genres are aimed at teens and young adults nowadays, teenagers being sexualized there is perfectly appropriate since they would be the same age as the readers

Apparently cant have multiple parts to a life

Due to trauma I ageregress so I was wanting to look into the other subreddit that talks about it to try and find community and understand that part of me more.

But also because of trauma I am hypersexual as well as into some dark ship as a weird way to cope, I didn't think it was anything bad because I'm normally a lurker but I was trying to reply to a post asking about a different subreddit they mentioned and then I got the auto response in the 2nd picture and my comment was deleted by mods.

Not to mention I have most if not all of those subs blocked from the public view so this exact thing didn't happen. I don't know what to do, I don't feel welcomed when that's what they are trying to do, idk if this is mostly a vent post.

reminder that the creator of dandy's world said this

as of me making this post, she still stands by it

maybe im missing something and please correct me if i'm wrong because i very well could be but this feels almost like a microaggression towards autoromantic and autosexual people [autoromantic and autosexual mean genuine romantic and sexual attraction to oneself, for some people said attractions may override or replace the attractions they feel for others]
