So who is good and who is bad

Looking for my first level 60 playthrough. I know about the Cyclops synergy I just don’t really wanna play Scott. Who should I avoid because they’re terrible?

Info About The Server Merger

From Director MonEll:

A small heads up. We now have the functionality to merge our databases.

The plan is the following:

  1. Start DR Leaderboards for Brood until next Thursday.
  2. Receive payouts for Leaderboards next Thursday.
  3. Next Friday, May 15th, take down both servers.
  4. Merge 2hiti database into Tahiti Prime.

I will try to minimize the downtime for the merged server which will be Tahiti Prime.

I am also aiming to update our backend web server from Apache to Nginx at the same time, which will increase the downtime.

Things to note:

  • Friend lists and ignore lists from 2hiti will be emptied.
  • Player names in 2hiti will change if and only if there is a similar player name in 1hiti. the 2hiti account will be renamed to PlayerName#2 or something similar. I was informed that the previous is not true. ALL players from 2Hiti will have #2 in their names.
  • Guild Names from 2hiti will follow similar rename schemes. See above.
  • There will be some small code changes related to login. Specifically you will now need to use the proper mhtahiti email, for the few that didn’t do that. otherwise you will receive “invalid username/password”.
  • For any account porting over from 2hiti the goal is to keep your launch parameter the same, so you don’t have to change things again. It’s doable, I will be researching how to do that during the next week.
  • Bifrost will receive an update to the previous configuration with only 1 server, once we merge.
  • Account Portal will stay locked to the first server until after the merge.

Random Hero Unlock & Random Team-Up Box Valuation

I was trying to figure out when it makes sense to stop getting random hero boxes with splinters and just buy them with Gs. I didn't find a great source explaining when other than https://mhtahiti.com/mh-random/ but that site didn't show the Team-Up Boxes. So I tried to make a couple graphs breaking it down.

On both graphs I assume each box's contents are equally probable among the box; i.e. Blade is equally an option as Spider-Man. I also made two lines for how people want to buy the boxes. The red line assumes you are seeking a new Hero/TU exclusively and dupes are essentially waste. The green line assumes you also value the dupes as an Ultimate Upgrade. The blue line is the cost of a random box and the purple line is the average cost (70.1754) of an Ultimate Upgrade token when purchased in the 19x store bundle (most efficient acquisition method). Because duplicate team-up tokens can be converted to ultimate upgrades at the crafter I also included it on that graph.

For Heroes, there are 58 that can come from the box. Excluded are the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer. For Team-ups there are (according to a post from MonEll in Discord) 38 that can come from that box. Included are only the ones that are viewable from the Team-Up Heroes roster even if unowned.

With this information I conclude to buy random boxes if:
- You have 32 or less randomizable heroes owned and only seek new heroes
- You have 39 or less randomizable heroes owned and value ultimate tokens
- You have 21 or less randomizable team-ups owned and only seek new team-ups
- You have 25 or less randomizable team-ups owned and value ultimate tokens

MODS like cooldown tracker or boss abilities

Are these allowed? If so, does anyone have anything? The cooldowns are just so tiny and in a spot thats not very useful.

Any sort of breakdown or whats the best for the 60+ grind ?

I am sure a ton of that stuff was lost when their forums went down, but even old stuff seems scarce.

Running on steam Deck.

I got the game running but I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I created an account and made a game account and password. The game connects to the server (not getting the http something error from wrong url). But when I enter the account details in game I get wrong user/pw error.

In the command line do I use a different site if I'm on Tahiti2? Or does it just take a while?

Appreciate any help!

Edit: Got it. It was different server address. You should add it to the guide <3

Rocket Racoon turning completely invisible?

I do not remember this happening pre wipe, but i see it happen alot now. Seems like it happens randomly after using powers. I have seen it happen after more then one so I am kinda confused. I mean totally invisible too, not cloaked, just gone and I can only see beams coming from where I am.
