I'm calling her table ready
Still a ton of cleanup and details to do, but that's gonna take me months. In the meantime, I'm calling this one table ready. The interior is minimally painted as well, including the cockpit. Sorry for the bad pics.

Painted up Reel the Descended as a Mortarion proxy, model came with a scythe but I just vibed with the spear

Bought a print for a price I can’t complain at really, but the quality isn’t great, lots of lines, sorry I don’t know the terminology of it all, is there something I can do to it before panting to give it a better finish?

Hey, y’all! Just wondering there was a loyalist, or just a non chaos version of the death guard power pack! Thanks!

Concept model that i have worked on for the last couple of months finally finished off. inspired by cuttlefish, snakes rather than the usual bugs and arachnids.
Modeled two different bases, one more elevated than the other to allow for different poses / perhaps better height to the table for the Dday ark proxy.
Calling it Spine of Apophis. C&C welcome.
if you're interested the STL can be downloaded here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/spine-of-apophis

I started this project in mid November last year and finally finished it today. I estimate around 100hours has been put into painting this massive model my longest time on a model yet.

It took so long to print, assemble and paint but it was worth it.

Warlord for my ultramarine army, I'm pretty bad at posing the models but this came out decent

I was gonna use them for terrain but my girlfriend said I should use them to store minis.

model by Mazagainst

Didn't like the bald head it had so i had to replace it with Neo himself. Did I get the scale right? Is the head too big?

Just got an A1 mini and printed that one bunker everyone prints and that one radar dish everyone prints…
But the fun part was going into Tinkercad and making a little connector piece for them both.
Can’t help but feel that a 3D printer is gonna be a critical piece of hobby gear when 11th and they new terrain objective rules drop.

Had someone ask for some terrain STLs that would fit, and the post got taken down for low effort, so I'm sharing this Humble Bundle find. If you have not run across the Humble Bundle site, they sell digital goods (video games mostly, but some books and comic books, digital assets for video games, and every once in a while, a themed pack of STLs) at a good discount and part of the proceeds go to a charity. Pretty good deal for what they are.
Anyway, this Bundle, which expires in 16 days as I type this, has a selection of fantasy miniatures and gothic terrain that would fit well in a 40k game, all for $25. And to practice your painting, a bunch of texture pallettes. It's not all 40k applicable, but enough terrain and decorative bases that you won't feel ripped off (and you're supporting Make a Wish).
And if you're into printing for Age of Sigmar or Old World, you'll get more use out of this Bundle.

i'm desperate to print these for use by a participent in the campaign I'm running called Crusadestein III. which is a campaign putting a 1:1 real time RPG/Wargame hybrid Braunstein campaign into a homebrewed 40k ruleset based on 3rd, 4th, and 5th edition. I'd love to show off printed minis but I just moved and I need to construct a shed to safely print the minis in resin and dispose of waste. So everything is on hold until I can do that. Until then, here's the dry fit minis assembled together in Lychee Slicer. I have regular infantry and Stormtroopers done. I even have a few HQs. And I intend to custom sculpt stuff for vehicles and artilery.
What online platforms or websites do people often make requests for 3d commissions or looking for a variety of 3d artists?
(curiosity killed the cat, so knowing that, this is an alt account so if anyone thinks on messaging me about helping with a commission can stop with the thought because I ain't reading your message and you'll be left on hold forever)

really like how this print turned out. decided to cut the parts into halves (or in case of the torso, into 4 pieces) so that I could align the layer lines to better print the details.
have an Ender 3 V3 Ke, 0.4 Nozzle, 0.08mm layer height using Creality Hyper PLA, approx $9 and 55 hrs of printing altogether.
some misalignment when I glued the pieces together (minor) so next large print will see if there is someway to have the pieces fit better when gluing (pins and matching holes?!)
best print I've been able to do with the machine so far!
