I’m worried about my period

So I know apps like Flo aren’t the most reliable but my projected ovulation phase was April 19-28. I had protected sex without any incident. On May 3rd my boyfriend and I had a protected sex when he pulled out he noticed part of the condom still stuck in me exterior was hanging out and some on his private part. To be safe I took a plan b within 30 mins. My expected period date was may 9th should I be worried or concerned. I need serious advice

Pregnancy scare (i need info)

Alright ladies i hope you can help me with this one, as i am not very educated on this topic. So tuesday last week me and my gf had unprotected sex, she is not on birth control. During the sex i came two times (not in her, and i used a condom) then the third time she removed the condom and i came in her, but it was little for obvious reasons. Exactly after this we check her flo app and it said she had ovulation day the day before. Same evening she took plan b. Since then i have been worrying and she hasnt had any symptoms til sunday. She had hard nipples. Monday the week after she saw some brown blood, and the day after that (today/wednesday) she confirmed she is in her period, and she bleeds very much. No symptoms other than that. What do u guys think?
Thank you so much for the help!

im beyond terrified

I’ve made an alt acc to post across Reddit for help on this- Around 16 days ago I had unprotected sex. My partner didn’t finish inside me and we stopped halfway to get a condom because we had honestly forgot. I took a plan b pill the next day. My period came on the 5th of May but was lighter than usual and only lasted 3 days. I took a pregnancy test this morning with my first urine of the day and it came back negative, but im still extremely anxious. My plan is to take a second test in a week but im terrified of cryptic pregnancies :( I really don’t want to be pregnant.

some advice or reassurance would really be appreciated:( im just not sure what to do next and i feel a little overwhelmed 😞

How to delay period for vacation trip?

Context: I'm traveling to Greece on June 3rd. I'm predicted to start my period on the 2nd.

I just finished my period yesterday, so would taking plan B in about a week prevent me from getting my period right before the trip? It works by delaying ovulation, so taking it at this time should theoretically work, right?

I know this is highly not recommended, but I'm desperate. I've taken it once before with no side effects. My period came 2 days early after that, but nothing else out of the ordinary. I haven't ever been to Europe and I have extremely intense cramping and pain the first 3 days of my period. I really don't want my first trip to Europe (only only trip outside of the States for the foreseeable next 6 years) to be ruined in it's entirety from my fucking period.

Has anyone else experienced their metabolism feeling completely messed up after taking Plan B One-Step?

It’s been about 3 months since I took Plan B. I’ve already gone through two menstrual cycles afterward, and I’m currently waiting for my third period.

The problem is that ever since taking it, I’ve been dealing with severe constipation, weight gain, and constant bloating for the past three months.

Before Plan B, I was naturally skinny and wouldn’t gain weight easily even eating two meals a day. Now it feels like everything I eat immediately turns into weight gain.

I’m scared that Plan B somehow triggered metabolic syndrome or messed up my hormones/metabolism.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Did it eventually go away?

I’m honestly really scared about how long this will last.

Could this be effective on me or no?

I’m worried about the effectiveness of Plan B in my case. I hope I simplified these enough! I don’t know if all the information is totally relevant.

I am on the fourth day of my period. It usually lasts 5-7 days. My cycle is 34-38 days.

I took it roughly 7 hours after unprotected sex. He finished inside of me.

I am 144 pounds and my BMI is 27-27.5. Not sure if age matters but I’m 18.

Can the Plan B work in this case? What if I’m too fat for it to work because of my BMI? Should I have taken it earlier?

I took off brand Plan B but it had the same ingredients.

Brown blood and itchy before period took

Around 3 weeks ago I took a plan b and may have been ovulating. A couple days ago (which is a few days before my period I was having cramps and now I’m having brown discharge. I thought it was my fake tan but I put a Q tip inside and it was on it. I’m having light cramps but I haven’t had the brown blood before my period in a long time. Now I’m worried. I used to have all kinds of problems with bv and yeast and ureaplasma once. During my pregnancy and having my baby 5 months ago, I have had none of those. Is this normal could it be my period coming or some weird hormonal reaction from the plan b?

My girl begged to get creampied 2-3 days after bleeding (day 10 of cycle). I woke up feeling regret as I should but I need to let you guys know she has PCOS and her cycles are usually 30-35 days. Idk if I should get her plan b or ellaone or there’s no need for that. I know I did a dumb thing but idk if I should take which contraceptive or not stress too much about it since it’s 2-3 days after bleeding stopped.

please give me advice!

I had sex on May 2. We used condoms, but we used baby oil as lube. The condoms kept breaking. He came twice inside two different condoms but we checked and those didn’t rip. At the date of this, I was on day 21 of my cycle, 9 days til my period. An app predicated my fertile window (when I had chances of being pregnant) were from April 19-April 29, with high chances on April 26. I am super worried. I took plan B the morning after. I’m concerned because I got sick April 25th and heard that can delay ovulation.
I weigh 192, im 5’5 if that matters

Can anyone give me advice on my chances of pregnancy at this point?

Help :)

I have regular 28 day cycles. I’ve never tracked the exact day I ovulate but I always get that sticky discharge and light cramping on when side which I always took as a sign that I was ovulating. This is usually around day 13-14. I had unprotected sex on day 7 of my cycle. Took a plan b (I’m a smidge above the bmi cut off) and today, day 23 of my cycle, I have spotting.

How concerned do I need to be for implantation bleeding vs just the hormone dump that is a plan b causing some spotting? Would implantation take a whole 10 days to happen (assuming worst case that the egg was fertilized on day 13 of my cycle??)

opinions on my timing when taking plan b

I had unprotected sex where he didnt pull out May 8th at around 5:30 am, i took a plan b when cvs opened at 8:30 am the same morning. I dont track ovulation, but my cycles are pretty regular and my app predicts for me to ovuate on May 9th. If anything, my period is sometimes one day late, never usually early. I didn’t notice any change in discharge leading up to the 9th, but I never typically do notice anyway. Just looking for opinions or some reassurance.

I took Plan B almost 3 weeks ago (3 weeks on Sunday) I had a withdrawal bleed 6 days after taking the pill for 4 days which was heavy bleeding. Now on 4/4 I started getting brown discharge and then turned to red blood on the 4/5. But now w days later there is no more blood. Was that my period? Was it shorter because of the pill? I usually bleed heavy for 2-3 days but this time it was only one. Should I still test on Sunday?

I tested at 14 days and was negative

Bf and I did the deed day 3 of my time of the month in the shower unprotected. After, I got in my head about it and next day took a planb. Ended my cycle then some bleeding. Now it’s almost 7 days past my normal start time per flo app that’s usually spot on, took 1 test and it was negative. Is this no period almost 7 days late normal? First time taking the pill and before this was always regular. Wondering if another test is in order or if I’m just stressing over nothing.

I need a clear medical opinion about pregnancy risk. Her last normal period was from 10-14 March. On 21 March, we only had external genital rubbing lasted 15-20 seconds (no penetration, no ejaculation), and then there was fingering lasted 10-15 seconds not too deep only half my finger was in. I had urinated 15-20 minutes before, and my last ejaculation was 10-12 days before the incident. She took an emergency contraceptive pill (Unwanted 72) within about 26 hours (on 22 March). Then she had bloating, breast pain etc. (side effects of EC) After that, she had withdrawal bleeding on 29-30 March but there was no cramps. We did a urine pregnancy test on 7 April (17 days after the incident) using first morning urine, and it was negative. Then she had bleeding again on 9-10 April with light flow (used 2 pads on the first day, 1 on the second) and mild cramps. After that she had some temporary weakness, mild cold, and headaches for a couple of days, which resolved. Since around 13-14 April onward she has been normal, with only occasional headaches which go away with rest.

As of now (around 29 April), she is otherwise completely normal, but for the past 2 days she has had some stomach pain, bloating, and gas. We also did another pregnancy test on 29 April (read within 3-5 minutes) but this time we didn't used morning first urine and read in 3-5 mins, which was negative. Based on all this, is there any realistic chance of pregnancy, or are these symptoms just unrelated digestive issues?

update on plan b

Last period: 5 APR - 11 APR
Had unprotected sex: 15 APR
Ate Plan B: 15 APR

After 8 days:
Plan B bleeding: 22 APR - 28 APR (lasted 7 days)

Next predicted period: 3 MAY
Today: 9 MAY with light brown bleeding

I know that plan b will mess up with my cycle, causing it to be earlier/delay or comes as usual and there’s no way to know if the current bleeding is my real period or not but… I regret taking the pill for an ease of mind because this is making me feel the opposite 😑

For my girls going through the same, you are not alone 🫶🏻 Manifesting for our periods to come asap

Complications of when to get plan b

hey guys, i did it w my partner Saturday the 9th (they didnt finish in me, they immediately pulled out and like after 2 seconds finished. they claim they got a tiny bit on me but idk if that matters or not as long as it wasnt in me). and i need to get a plan b either today or tmr bc of the three day window. Here are my issues:

i need to withdraw cash because i cannot use my debit card or else my dad will see because he has access to my bank history. The problem with with cash is because i’ve never done it and I’m paranoid of my dad always because he’s strict and incredibly strange, so it’s impossible to say anything and not have him be suspicious forever. I made up a lie saying my friend bought be pants but her parents found out and want me to pay her back, but idk if i tell him before i withdraw cash or after, as i’m worried he’ll insist on just putting money in my card or smth and venmo it instead. Or if he’ll blame me for letting her buy me smth, he’ll refuse to let me withdraw any cash at all, whatever.

if i wait until the third day, that will increase my chance of getting pregnant bc my period comes around the 12-16th (it changes every month and i cant keep track bc it’s impossible to) and i have zero fucking clue if i ovulated or not. Pls dont give me a list of symptoms bc i already looked them up several times and it all said the same shit i dont and have never went through in my life. The only way i know when i’m getting my period is the DAY OF when i get pain down there. I really dont know if i can risk waiting until the third day to go to planned parenthood when it opens, only to be denied a free pill or smth and have to withdraw cash anyway. So should i just be safe and withdraw cash today anyway? I have $13 in cash rn.

or is this not even that deep and my chances of getting pregnant are low enough. i’ve done it w my partner twice when i didnt know plan b was a thing, and he never used protection and i never got pregnant before. i only took plan b the third time we did it and i took it on the third day, and i think i wasnt expected to get my period until a week or two later and my period wasn’t delayed

Had a true period 1 week ago from morning after pill but…

Ok so. I had a protected sex (with condom) on March 31st but he didn’t ejaculate inside me, instead he took the condom off then came inside my mouth. I did check the condom if it broke and it didn’t but since I was paranoid and stressed out that I was pregnant, he bought the morning after pill and took it right away. 6 days later after I took it, I had a period but I doubted it was real cause it was too soon so, I googled it and it said it was withdrawal bleeding and it only lasted 3 days. After that, I took several pregnancy tests every week and even took blood test on 4th week and it all came out negative even the blood test. My expected period was supposed to come on April 18th but it delayed for 10 days and finally got my period on May 1st and it lasted for 6 days. It was heavy flow with blood clots. So the question is why do I feel nauseous 2 days after my period until now? Am I pregnant?

I’m not pregnant, am I?

Please help!

Hi everyone, I really need some advice because I’m very stressed and confused.

I had sex on March 31st and we used condoms and changed them everytime about 4 to 6 condoms, and I also took Plan B (emergency contraception) afterwards.

After that, I got what seemed like a normal heavy period from April 10–15 (lasted about 5 days, heavy flow).

Now I’m worried because I’ve been having symptoms and ongoing spotting since April 26th and still continuing up to May 4th

Sometimes it’s just a bit of blood on my panty

Other times it’s only when I wipe, like stretchy blood like discharge on toilet paper

Bloating and my stomach feels/looks bigger than usual

Upset stomach and gas

Mild back pain

I’ve been really anxious because I keep reading things online and it’s making me overthink everything.

The problem is I can’t take a pregnancy test right now because I live in a strict household and have no privacy or way to do it safely.

I just want to understand, Is it still possible to be pregnant after a heavy period like that?

Could Plan B be causing long lasting spotting like this?

Has anyone experienced similar prolonged light bleeding / “stretchy” discharge after emergency contraception?

Any advice or reassurance would really help. I’m quite stressed and trying to understand what’s happening with my body.
