What's the best gaming monitor right now?
So I've been saving up for a while and I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on a new gaming monitor. I mostly play FPS and some open-world RPGs, so I want something that looks gorgeous but doesn't sacrifice performance. There are so many options out there like 1440p, 4K, OLED, IPS and honestly my head is spinning. Budget is somewhere around $400-600 but I can stretch a little if it's really worth it. Would love to hear what you guys are actually using and loving right now, not just the spec-sheet winners!
Thanks in advance!
What's the best budget gaming PC right now?
Saved up around $800 and really want to build a gaming PC but honestly not even sure if it's possible at this budget without it being a total waste. Everyone online either says it's fine or says don't bother.
Is a decent budget gaming PC actually doable in 2026 or am I just setting myself up for disappointment?
Have GPU’s always been this expensive?
Just finished my first PC build with a 5080 and 7800X3D, and honestly the GPU price still hurts. I could've bought 4 Xboxes for what I paid for it alone.
I've been reading that the 5080 is so pricey because of low stock and scalpers buying them up. But is this a launch thing that eventually settles down, or does this happen every time a new GPU drops?
I am kinda embarassed to post my setup after seeing what other people post in this sub but,How can I make my set up look better?give me some suggestions
Give me some suggestions how can I make my set up look decent. And also don't say something Really expensive because I just bought This new pc so I don't have much money
What parts should I get first?
So I know that isnt a great idea to get parts separately but I just cant afford to buy a pc all in one go so im buying like a part or two every paycheck.. what parts should I get out of the way and buy first.?. Ive built three pcs in the past and I got all my parts at the same time but I also did build them when ram was only 40 bucks for 32g lol. What parts should I be aware of in regards to rising prices or lowered availability or things like that?
HELP!
Good morning everyone,
I just finished my very first PC build and I was wondering if I could receive some feedback from the community?
I'm unsure if I should dock my PC on the floor with a PC stand or is being on my desk the safest bet. I'm a novice so I was just wondering, thank you!
Need help renovating my set up! Looking to get a mini PC and a second monitor to go along with it.

Hi everyone!
I’m thinking about getting this mini PC from amazon for around CAD $800:
BOSGAME M4 Neo Mini PC Gaming, Ryzen 7 7840HS, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, USB4, WiFi 6E, BT 5.2, Dual 2.5Gbps LAN
I don’t really play many games. The only game I consistently play on my current laptop is Rocket League, but I have to lower the graphics a lot and use stretched resolution just to get decent FPS, usually around 120 FPS.
I’m looking for a mini PC that can run Rocket League at at least 120 FPS on good-looking graphics, not maxed-out insane settings, just something that looks nice and runs smoothly. The BOSGAME M4 Neo seems like a good option, but I wanted to ask, are there any cheaper mini PC alternatives that could still run Rocket League at 120 FPS on good graphics?
I’m also planning to get a secondary monitor. It doesn’t need to be anything crazy because it would mostly be for YouTube, schoolwork, and using as an off-screen display. I’m thinking around 60Hz or 75Hz, nothing big, expensive, or high refresh rate. If you were wondering, my current monitor is a BenQ MOBIUZ EX240N Gaming Monitor 24" 165Hz monitor and laptop is an ASUS Vivobook S 14 flip tp3402V core i5 13th gen 8 gb ram. Ive used it for about 2 years now, its pretty decent interms of using one display only at school. But when I get back home and plug the HDMI in, it's just so laggy man. I can't bear it any longer
Another issue is desk space. My desk is not huge, so I’m trying to figure out the best way to set everything up. Should I get a monitor stand/arm and place the secondary monitor toward the left side where my laptop currently is, or toward the right? Would it be better to get a small side table at around the same height as my desk and put the monitor there instead?
I’m also not really sure what a typical budget should be for this kind of setup, including the mini PC and a basic secondary monitor.
Any suggestions for:
-cheaper mini PCs that fit my needs
-good budget secondary monitors
-desk/space optimization ideas
-what kind of budget I should expect, Canadian Dollars too preferably
would be really appreciated. Thanks!
