Have GPU’s always been this expensive?

Just finished my first PC build with a 5080 and 7800X3D, and honestly the GPU price still hurts. I could've bought 4 Xboxes for what I paid for it alone.

I've been reading that the 5080 is so pricey because of low stock and scalpers buying them up. But is this a launch thing that eventually settles down, or does this happen every time a new GPU drops?

Hey everyone! I've been going back and forth on this for a while and can't make up my mind, so I figured I'd ask the people who actually use this stuff daily.

I'm looking to upgrade my audio setup for PS5 and I'm torn between going wired or wireless. Here's where I'm at:

  • I mostly play late at night, so sound quality and comfort during long sessions matter a lot
  • I play a mix of competitive shooters (like Warzone/CoD) and story-driven games (like God of War, Spider-Man)
  • My budget is somewhere around $150–$250, but open to going higher if it's genuinely worth it.

Things I'm curious about:

  1. Is wireless worth the extra cost, or does wired still win on audio quality?
  2. How's the mic quality on popular options, especially for party chat?
  3. Any battery life issues with wireless ones after extended use?

I've seen a lot of recommendations for the Pulse 3D, SteelSeries Arctis Nova, and HyperX Cloud, but honestly there are so many options it's overwhelming.

What are you guys actually using and would you buy it again?
