Brushtroke Technique Help
Looking for advice on how to get clean lines in a single brushtroke. I struggled doing the rope on the dock and had to trace over it several times because my strokes were feathered (see the second photo of my practice attempts/fails to get a clean line). I'm using acrylics with glazing liquid mixed in. Any help would be appreciated!
In this video, I’m creating a feathery straight pour using classic black and white—but with a twist that changes everything. I added the magical Unicorn pigment by This Little Piggy, and suddenly… the painting begins to shift.
https://youtu.be/ua_nm5vYHHk?si=uI5rLMV_WwnELu6T
From electric violet to deep blue, like light moving across water at night.
Watch as soft feathered lines bloom across the canvas, cells open like quiet whispers, and the colors transform depending on how the light touches them.
If you enjoyed this flow, let me know in the comments—what color shift should I try next?
And if you’re new here… welcome to Fiona Art, where we let the paint speak.

Acrylic Pour Painting for Beginners | Hair Dryer Technique 💙💚Link in the description
Hello from Slovenia again!
Today I will play with fluid acrylics and a hair dryer. I mixed my paints with Owatrol Floetrol in 2:1 ratio.
https://youtu.be/ClHwgI9-n2c?si=VGZauFPg4bX4C_go
I put down my white basecoat and just did some lines of paint in kind of a "gradient way". I blow it out with a hair dryer first, then blow with my mouth in some places and spin it out.
I really like the final results...It gives me Calm before the storm 💙 vibes. What do you see?

My Abstract Painting, "Precious", Acrylic and Ink On Canvas
This painting using a mix of media and techniques, acrylic and ink on canvas, but it's all done by hand.
Just practicing to be a art painter, should i to continue or have no potential?
What can I do to fix the sky in my painting?
I'm a bit of a beginner, and I'm making a painting of a alien-like sky with two moons and figures on the clouds. However I'm having trouble with blending the colors, or even which colors to use, so any advice would be appreciated
Trying textured painting, not yet finished with this one.
Finding it hard to paint when not in the mood and not sure
how to paint the petals to make it look more separated.
Even if its textured it looks flat :(
Hopefully I get some inputs on how to improve this painting Thank You! :)
