I have a pitbull mix, my neighbor has 9 outdoor cats who frequently beat my dog up. I have spoken to my neighbor about this and they essentially tell me to keep my dog inside. is it wrong/illegal to bring them to a shelter? my dog is only outside on walks/play breaks. We also live really close to a coyote den. we are in Washington state if that helps

Neighbor kids keep hitting my car with a ball, not damaging the car, but enough to cause stress. What are my options aside from telling them to stop (they don't)?

Location: Utah

So I live in a townhouse that has 4 homes in one building - side by side. We each have a dedicated driveway that fits 2 cars side by side. We also each have a garage. I drive a truck with crossbars so it does not fit in the garage - so I park in my driveway. The neighbor kids play tennis, lacrosse, baseball, basketball in the shared driving portion, which sort of connects all of our individual driveways. Two weeks ago, the window of my truck was shattered. I cannot prove it was the kids, but I asked them. They denied it. I have no footage, though I did file a police report and canvassed the neighborhood (unsuccessfully) for potential camera footage of the incident. Anyway, I let it die and paid for a new window out of pocket. Since then, I have installed a camera and have recordings of the neighbor kids hitting my car 3 separate times with a ball (football once and tennis ball 2x). They are nice kids, but I have asked them repeatedly to stop - and recently sternly told them to stop hitting my truck. This resulted in a verbal altercation with their parents, who say its a repeated accident and I shouldn't talk to their children that way and now their kids are "scared to death to play outside." I want to know what recourse I have, if any, if they keep hitting my truck. The recorded incidents arent hard enough to leave a dent in the truck, but I just want them to stop hitting my truck. Is there anything I can do?

Thank you!

Parenting advice neighbor kids

Hi i would love advice on a neighborhood situation. My daughter 4(F) has always played with the neighbor kids 10(M) and 5(M) mostly the 5 year old but his brother is out too. They both have ride on cars, we have repeatedly asked the boy not to ram his ride on car into my daughters. 1. They arent bumper cars 2. I know they get a lot of wear and tear from driving and would like to keep them nice/working for a long time if possible. His older brother has rammed his bike into her car several times to. The parents never correct or say anything. I always say please dont and stop. I have asked the parents and they do nothing. Well tonight after i told him 4 times to stop hitting her car with his his dad came over and started saying what do we want him to do and that he is just 5 "kids will be kids" and that even if he tells him to not do it he wont do it because his brain isnt "fully developed". We went back and forth and got no where. I need advice because i live at the end of the street and i know this will happen again, i dont have a back yard to play in and i dont want to stop my daughter from playing outside. I simply don't understand i wouldnt allow my daughter to ram into some other kids car. If my 4 year old understands not to hit other cars i dont see how a 5 year old doesnt understand the concept. I understand i cant control how other people parent but if someone asked me to not have my daughter do something i would apologize and correct the behavior. Not just say kids will be kids. All advice welcome

Neighbor's package concierge

A neighbor has started a habit of asking me to retrieve packages from her porch because she isn't home and won't be home for a few days. It seems like she's out of town a lot! Would you say Yes? I don't mind being helpful in an emergency but don't want to be asked to do it regularly. Thoughts?
