Neighbor's package concierge

A neighbor has started a habit of asking me to retrieve packages from her porch because she isn't home and won't be home for a few days. It seems like she's out of town a lot! Would you say Yes? I don't mind being helpful in an emergency but don't want to be asked to do it regularly. Thoughts?

Mid-Atlantic breeders

Hi,

Has anyone used a breeder in the mid-Atlantic region (PA, WV, VA, MD) that they would highly recommend? I prefer breeders that provide information about the health of the parents (health certificates) and test for some of the conditions well-known in Westies. Also, don't want to pay more than $2500. I'm seeing some prices as high as 4K now. We simply can't afford to go that high but I don't think that a high price is necessarily an indication of a better breeder either.

Thanks, y'all!

Those of you who have dogs and care for one yourself, despite having fibro, which breed did you go for?

Up till now I've had goldens but my husband has to handle them. My next dog will be a small dog though and I'm looking at small breeds, however, since I'm low energy I may need one that's low energy as well. I think I could do a daily short walk on most days though. At least right now in my current condition.

Hi, I have raised four goldens, the loves of my life, but I'm at the age and health status where I need to consider a small breed for my next dog.

I've been eyeing Westies for a long time. I don't have to explain to you why people fall in love with them but I also want to be careful to make sure they fit my lifestyle.

For my next dog, I would like to be able to take them to nursing homes for visits. I can't do this with the goldens because they're too big for me to handle. My husband does all the walking.

Do you think Westies would make a good comfort dog or dog I could take to nursing homes to visit with the patients?

Secondly, I'm also a sufferer of Fibromyalgia so I'm not super active. I'm sure I could walk the Westie every day but I'm used to a breed that sleeps about 80% of the day. I know Westies can be energetic but wondering what that means in percentages. Are they active non-stop? 70 percent of the day? 50 percent? Just saying they're energetic doesn't really give me any tangible feeling for what my day in and day out would be like.

Thanks!

I’m looking into this for pain relief. How many of you use it and still work? Still drive? If so, how do you work dosing around those things ?

Sorry if these questions are dumb.
