For those of you who saw Game 1 of the ECF tonight

Craziest Knicks playoff game I've ever seen, we've been through hard times it's legitimately insane to see what this team has become. Props to this man.

My side of the room in a hotel in Park slope converted to a semi-luxury homeless shelter in greenwood (maids 3 times a week, TV with spectrum cable) we got t mobile wifi in here, and an Xbox with all the big streaming services

I'm watching the new season of euphoria rn and hitting my sherbinski cart... I deserved it though. Woke up at the crack of dawn to go tutor a student in the Bronx. I am a substitute teacher living in a shelter trying to get a city fheps voucher. Hate on me all you want but this is and the lottery are the only real ways to get affordable housing in NYC. Check pics of my room in the helter shelter

Be very careful walking through the city and exiting your vehicle.

Life is a fleeting moment. You think you have tomorrow, but tomorrow isn’t promised. After this story, it got me double checking before I leave my car. Be safe everyone.

Who here has ever made a career change?

Lowkey curious cause Im at a point where once I achieve certain licenses and hours I kind of want to pivot to an entirely different field so I was wondering how common is this and what was your experience like?

 Hey, solo dev here.
I made a very simple landing page for my app NYC Intel and I’m not sure if it works or feels too bare.

Flow is basically:
user types an address
gets a quick “block score” + a few stats
then prompt to download the app
That’s it.
I’m intentionally keeping it minimal, but now I’m wondering:
is it clear enough?
does it feel useful or just gimmicky?
would you actually type an address here?
Would really appreciate blunt feedback 🙏

NY will forever hold the L for backing and cosigning this rainbow haired Mexican as a tough blood gangster rapper 🌈🐀 Never would happen in any other city.

What's the best construction jobs for the summer?

Any recommendations? I hate working in the shelter. I need something close to engineering or at least close to it.

How do y’all smoke here??

Visiting New York for the first time from the south… y’all ain’t got no swishers??? 15 different smoke shops in 4 boroughs and y’all ain’t got no swishers, no backwoods, no white owls. Dude behind the counter act like he never even heard of it. Finally after 2 days I tracked down two sorry ass dutches.
