In sahyadri there was this one 🥷🏻 here who is genuinely the Final Boss of Yapping.

When college started, this dude was walking around like he was the messiah of NITK. He tells everyone he’s a double dropper and drops this "tragic" backstory: apparently, in his first drop, he pulled an AIR 670 in JEE Advanced and was chilling in IIT Bombay CSE. But then—get this—he says he got kicked out after 2 months because of some "documentation issue" with his caste certificate.(He is SC)

He then says he took a second drop, but since he wasn’t eligible for Advanced anymore, he "only" gave Mains. He told us he didn't even study a single page after leaving IIT Bombay because he was "depressed," and that's the only reason he "fell" to a 1.5k rank in mains 2025 and ended up here in IT.

But the flex didn’t stop at books. This mf really tried to convince the whole wing that he was juggling 7 or 8 girlfriends at once back home. He’d legit sit there telling us how multiple girls were begging him to go to prom but he denied them all because they weren't on his level. Whenever we’d talk about coding, he’d just yawn and say he already knows every language and the 1st-year syllabus is "too boring" for his brain.

Fast forward to the Sem 1 results: The "IITB Genius" pulls up with a 2.5 CGPA and only 12 credits cleared. 🤡

The math wasn't mathing, so I managed to get a look at his actual admission docs (don't ask how). I saw the JEE result with my own eyes: 49 percentile. Over 7 Lakh rank. He’s here on an SC + PwD quota. And the funniest part? The guy looks 100% fine. No physical issues, nothing. That PwD certificate is looking sus as hell, but I guess his real disability is being a pathological liar.

I ain't lying at all. Some of uh might have guessed whom Im talking bout.

keep in mind that you guys are planning to join a government college at nominal fees....

ig this is the situation across all NIT's

your biggest resource here will be your batchmates,seniors and alumni (beach as well:))

ANDD club culture is really really good

water and food will definitely improve but volatility will always be there

now that i have spent a complete year here I have come to an understanding if you want a certain 'IIT' level experience out of a good nit... you need to talk to the people there to utilize and understand the resources

use every opportunity you get.. your time will definitely be fruitful

Hey guys, I am currently thinking of joining NIT Surathkal but I had doubts regarding the clubs and facilities.

Does NITK have anything like the tineker's lab present in IITs which provides access to 3d printing , CNC ,arduinos, raspberry Pi because I am very interested in building stuff.

is it possible to study cse related things by myself? (no idea what i need to do ill find out after exams). maybe even go abroad for ms in cs ece related fields or any field once i find out what im interested in. currently i have no idea in what subject im interested in.

I want to apply to a bunch of exams which require my 8th sem grade card as well so I wanted to know when the 8th sem grade card will be arriving to us as I've heard it's going to be mailed to us. What is the buffer time approximately?

- great college life

- target package like (25+lpa)

- excellent sports facilities especially badminton (badminton courts at midnight??)

- less restrictions like no hostel curfews and all

mining ke saath gate prep krna kitna mushkil hai
and doing dsa (kyuki theory ke saath thoda practical is imp, an dsa is pretty imp for cs)

So I am getting Nit K eee,Nit W eee,Mnnit A ece, Nit C ece, IIIT A ece, IIIT D ece, DTU ece,NSUT ece. Can anyone please give me an idea which option is the best from their experience in particular for **Core Electronics Domain** (like embedded,Vlsi etc) in terms of opportunities not for IT and software oriented only. Like how is NIT K EEE for electronics core domain or ece at a bit lower nit like allahabad or calicut would be better? I am also getting NIT rourkela electronics and instrumentation(EIE). How is that and should I consider it over above options for ece core.(I have heard it's good in rourkela for core ece aswell).

And if anyone knows more about ece core opportunities can they please help me and confirm if I am right in below given things.

Things I have heard by exploring- 1) IIITD ece is better than IIIT A ece in terms of ece core opportunities.

2. DTU,NSUT are not that good for core ece opportunities in comparison to nits and iiits

3. NIT calicut is better than MNNIT allahabad for ece core opportunities.

man totally shit shop to even buy something from nothing is good. chips that you can never find a good one kurkure only tedhe medhe talk about drinks my man has only 10rs campa leave about 20 rs pepsi or coca cola option and now for the last 4-5 days he only have 50 rs chips only. 😭🙏mahnn amul was a lot better than this shop.
