Hello everyone. I'll be receiving my Kompakt sometime next week. I'm looking for a good setup guide or checklist to help me get things going. This would include things like QoL apps, and things to do to mitigate problems with group texting, etc. Does anyone know of a site or previous thread that addresses these things?

Anybody here from the UK? How many business days did it take you to receive your mudita kompakt?

Hi everyone, I will be receiving my Mudita Kompakt this Monday - switching from LP3 with Mint Mobile. I've read that it's as simple as swapping the physical sim, is that true? Obviously, I've already turned off iMessage, RCS(?) and all the jazz upon switching to LP3. Any tips on how to make the switch seamless would be so appreciated 😄 Thanks so much!

I love this cute phone and am not selling it, but it ended up to not be what I needed due to the RCS thing. Friends claimed my messages didn't always go through and theirs failed, too. I also realized I missed little things like being able to react to messages and send and receive color photos.

I still had a smartphone for the extra things that come up when you are out in the world such as maps and needing to follow links, check bank acct, work app, etc. Eventually it felt burdensome to be using both phones although I could have tried harder to get around without the smartphone.

it feels like I am the one that failed and not the phone, even though the world is now designed around us needing a smartphone.

overall, I learned more about what I want and need in a minimal device, and I hope to try again sometime.

Hi all!

I was really excited to receive my Kompakt last week and got it all set up! However, the past few days I've noticed a recurring issue with the phone not reconnecting to the cellular network if it gets disconnected. I know the network is available because when I restart the phone it connects immediately.

The problem is that if I don't notice its disconnected, it might be an hour or two that it stays disconnected for and I miss calls and texts before I notice and restart it. I've had to restart the phone 4 times today.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Got my mudita kompakt and setting it up. Is there a way to transfer my old ringtone onto it? I have the ringtone as a m4r file on my mac.

I don’t want to download aurora store just WhatsApp and a few more apps apk files. What website do I use that’s safe and compatible. I will be downloading them on my iMac and transferring them through the mudita centre to my phone. Thanks

I'm new to reducing my screen time and tech giant dependence and I am planning to use a Mudita Kompakt as part of that. According to a few posts over at r/degoogle like:

It seems like sideloading, which was one of the features that helped me decide on the Kompakt so I can keep using a select few android apps, might be in jeopardy due to google play dependencies. I know most of those words but I don't know what they mean in that order. Can someone with more experience in the platform please weigh in on whether this will implode side-loading? Am I good to chug along with a kompakt? In USA if that makes a difference.

PROBLEM SOLVED: I updated to MuditaOS K 1.4.0 and the Mudita Center now works!

MK is plugged into my Mac. I click on 'manage files' on the Mudita Center then the app goes blank. Has anyone encountered this before?

Is there a way to take a screenshot too?

My Dad keeps sending me messages but he is unable to send them to me. It says on his phone message failed to send? Any ideas?

I downloaded aurora store and from that some apps. What do I do now to remove aurora store but keep the apps?

I hate the feel of plastic and silicone, anyone know of any cases for the Kompakt made of leather or any other "natural" materials? Preferably not a flip/booklet style case
