The folks at r/degoogle are in upheaval over google's proposed crackdown on methods for alternative Android builds, but I can't make heads or tails of it for MuditaOS
I'm new to reducing my screen time and tech giant dependence and I am planning to use a Mudita Kompakt as part of that. According to a few posts over at r/degoogle like:

It seems like sideloading, which was one of the features that helped me decide on the Kompakt so I can keep using a select few android apps, might be in jeopardy due to google play dependencies. I know most of those words but I don't know what they mean in that order. Can someone with more experience in the platform please weigh in on whether this will implode side-loading? Am I good to chug along with a kompakt? In USA if that makes a difference.
