2 Mines left. Thinking i just need to guess here
Hello people,
Me and my group made a gamejam based on mindsweepers and made it into an Offline Asyncronous 2x Coop game,
which basically means you can play with no connection needed whatsoever, as long that you and a friend can voice talk to figure it out as a team.
We worked on this during the Xbox Camp Game Jam in Kortrijk and we worked on this project roughly 3 days
We would like feedback from the community for suggestions, or just hope that yall can have fun playing this game.
Let us know if you enjoy or not with a comment on here or on the Itch.io Page.
Or maybe leave a comment to find someone to test it with.
Thanks for the love shown thus far.
Not looking for a full solution, but at least where should I be looking at. Is there a weak spot that I'm missing? I feel like there's a lot of guesses to make everywhere
I just want to have the solution for future encounters please, this game is humbling me
All the apps I found are pretty trash, what do you guys use?
I just started a blog for writing about my personal interests. It's not about money or popularity, but I'll still gladly take constructive feedback :)
Today, I wrote a high-level math post (just some arithmetic, no theorems) about the Dragonsweeper game that has seen some features by Youtubers and streamers recently.
look at that! that 1 has 2 bombs!
and this one
the 1's in the edges have a bomb, and the 2 next to the 1 only has 2 tho squares so both are confirmed bombs, then why does they 2 next to than one has 3 bombs then?!?! taht 3 has 4 bombs?!? what is happening lmao
Minesweeper Plus 3.0 now features the ability to upload custom sprites for the Captain Sweeper. This spritesheet clearly shows where my imagination led.
I'm making a game called They Live Inside The Walls that is basically a first-person minesweeper horror roguelite, and right now I'm trying to address what I think is one of the biggest problems with the original minesweeper: it doesn't teach the player how to play, making the learning curve very steep for new players.
So I'm making a tutorial with not only the purpose of teaching the mechanics, but also giving the player some tools to start playing without being frustrated, while they learn more complex patterns.
I tried to have the same approach that I would have in explaining the game to a friend that never played before, but this is where I would need your help: are there some other cases that you would show to the player? Do you think that the explanation is easy to understand?
I tried to hold the hand of the player less and less while going on in the tutorial, do you think I balanced it right?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been obsessed with the idea of making Minesweeper more "head-to-head" and I’m working on a mobile app concept focused on a ranking system and live multiplayer. I wanted to run the game modes by you guys to see if this is something you'd actually play.
1. The Turn-Based Battle (1v1 & 2v2)
2. The Speed Sprint (1v1 & 2v2)
As you climb the ladder, the board difficulty scales by both dimensions and mine density, so high-rank games will be much more intense.
A few questions for the pros:
Would love to hear your thoughts and is it something you would love to play so i can start coding or not!
The app is minesweeper: the clean one btw.
Ive been trying this level for 3 years, i rlly hope they didnt update the game to become no guess as ive been completing loads with no guessing since yesterday? Anyways ive finally completed 650 bombs but ive added an extra flag... can someone please help me spot it
1 on Google Mobile, and 1 on PC
basically, I kinda struggle to solve these types of stuff involving 1s and 2s. I drew up 3 examples here in a minesweeper solver, and I'm hoping some kind stranger would go into the comments and explain how I can reach this conclusion, because I probably couldn't. been staring at these solutions wondering how.
p.s. green flags are safe, some can be ignored since it's an incomplete board. red is mines
second note: my sister tried explaining these to me but she kinda failed. I still have the better minesweeper times but I need to know more before I can say I'm the better sweeper of mines!!!
I'm going to go to sleep and hopefully I can read helpful comments in the morning.
