to see some footage of the „advanced colonies“ submod. I named it „Dynasty“, since its much more than advanced colonies.
Basically I was doing work supplying my builders when a random pillager party killed one near the edge of my colony. I haven't encountered mob issues because The major areas are lit up and I generally just sleep really fast so regular mobs haven't been an issue. Do I need to build walls or do I need more guards.
It would be nice if they had beds
Basically I upgraded my farmer and have been trying to get him to grow durhum wheat. However he's just not doing it for some reason. How do I solve this?
I'm currently in the process of upgrading the builder hut so i can eventually upgrade the fishing hut to lvl 5 because its the only way of automating the fishing in my pack atm, now i've read a lot of "babysitting" complaints about needing to supply the materials but thats not an issue for me, i mean real babysitting because otherwise the builder gets stuck, they just removed the door, then placed a block there and stopped doing anything cause they were trapped outside and couldnt reach the next thing they wanted to work on so im stuck here spending an hour or two for every upgrade just wandering around to make sure they dont lock themselves up or dig themselves in a hole instead of working on my own thing on the side and im getting really frustrated, is there any way to not need to babysit all the time?
Hey it's been a long time since I posted but I have some concerns before I commit to making my own style. My theme is overgrown and I want to include create mod blocks into the appropriate hut designs. Please give me any tips or tricks to doing this.
So I am using the medival oak style building at level 1 and I thought If I brought the cows to the fenced barn looking areas she would easily take care of them. She seems to breed them fine but they keep coming out. How can I fix this?
So I've been going through my backlog of residents' requests and a couple of them want guard towers near their homes. I've currently got I believe 6 residences closely packed in a 2 by 3 grid with 4 blocks between each residence. I put a guard tower on either side of the middle row . I want to know if the towers will cover all 6 or not
I'm playing with No Man's Land which adds these beautiful red and yellow trees. Which colony style could look nice with it?
I've started playing the mod a couple days ago, I am playing in creative. I'd like to work towards making my town completely automated, at a smaller scale and then eventually a larger one (once I have a better grasp on how things work).
Does anyone have any tips for this? I've run into some minor issues (like my courier won't being my ores to the smelter), but this is my long-term goal with this mod.
Basically can they use a crafting table, furnace stonecutter or more? Also do they only craft what they need/ produce or can I say have my courier craft some generally useful recepies like tools
How long has this button existed? The fact that I can select a recipe from open requests is such a joy! Please tell me it's new because I am going to feel like an idiot for never noticing it in previous versions. Kudo's to the devs that added this.
Hi, I'm the guy making the Minecolony inspired survival game. I wanted to reach out on the form again to thank all the beta testers who took the time to try out the game and give some feedback.
The huge range of PCs that tried the game made me realize optimization was a major issue so I've been working a lot on that, and proud to say I think I get the core issue solved, I reworked the system that handles filling chunks with trees grass and rocks and that seemed to speed it up tremendously. But am still working on reaching a smooth 60+ FPS consistently. Currently at about 55.
There's still a bunch of bug fixes I need to work on and features that need polishing also thanks to your suggestions.
If any of you have further feedback or run into problems feel free to message.
I have found a huge town/village in the wilderness populated by husks, creepers and spiders, and it also includes a huge pillager outpost (as in: A bunch of tents with banners and illagers) with creatures in cages, such as Iron Golems.
My question is: Can the village ever be made safe? If I remove all the banners, will the illagers stop spawning?
