I really hate my face shape and it doesn't suit my features. Few years ago due to long hours of screentime I suddenly collapsed and lost conscious which led my face striking the floor, specifically my left side(as shown in the photo) years pass by and my left cheekbone is bigger than my right.

Is my mewing correct, and how should it feel

should the suction hold feel effortless, almost like your not even aware your doing it? should you corntrol the back park of your tongue or should you just let it suction and swallow without controlling anything? should the back be fully suctioned ALL the way to the bsck or does all the way to the back towards the throat get not fully suctioned like the hard palate + beginning of soft palate part?

14 - 17 - 21

Long story short, had part of under my tongue snipped and had to go to speech therapist to talk properly again. Had to do tongue exercises to strengthen it, lots of it was similar to mewing, and additional ones.

Most memorable one was putting cheerio on my tongue and stretching it from my pallete to outside my mouth without falling over and over.

Most important was therapist telling me to keep proper tongue posture was to keep most of tongue resting on roof of your mouth.

Weight: Im heavier now than back then, was part of swimming team.

Wisdom teeth: I have all my wisdom teeth still in. Some are fullly out, some are half. Dentist said isn't a problem unless they start to cause pain.

I didn't realize what I was doing was mewing position until way later I saw on social media, just thought it was interesting. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.

I like the second picture better because my slightly forward lower lip is not visible. How do I fix this? Mewing or braces/invisalign? I'm in acompensated edge to edge bite.

I think i need a double jaw surgery

I think i need a double jaw surgery. Messi is a far better player than me and mogs me in all realms on and off the football field. I think it's because I'm a mouth breather with a recessed chin/narrow airway leading to sub optimal oxygenation whilst playing. I've tried mewing but Messi is still better and I'm still recessed

Will mewing be effective or palate expander needed.

My orthodontist said he’d give me a plastic removable plate expander in 3 months - but i was wondering i could just do it with mewing?

Need your aesthetic opinions: Ortho says surgery isn't worth it, but I hate my recession

Hi everyone,

I recently consulted an orthodontist, but he told me that aesthetically, my beard hides my lower jaw recession. He thinks the recession is mild and that it's simply not worth "breaking my jaw" over it.

I'm going to get a second opinion in June from a more highly regarded maxillofacial specialist in my area. As of right now, I don't know if I have any underlying medical/airway issues, but I do have clicking/popping in my jaw (TMJ) when I open my mouth wide.

I really wanted to get your honest aesthetic opinions. Is my recession shocking or as ugly as I feel it is?

I’ve also attached a photo where I used Paint to digitally advance my mandible. Additionally, when I bite my lower lip, it naturally brings my lower jaw forward, and that also gives me the exact dream result I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance
