Who else was excited about Easter?

Only for Easter, was I allowed to wear my hair out. Normally it was sectioned and in “Bo-Bo’s” or I had two long pigtails.

But Easter was different. New outfit, shoes and I could get my hair straightened. Been burned on the back of my ear more than I’d like to remember, so what about you Ladies?

You might reveal a few years back when a customer spotted him working in Trader Joe’s and put his photo on SM shaming him. It backfired and he seems to have gotten steady work since then

I will say that I am a little surprised when I think back to watching this show with my grandmother. One of the allegations is limiting Black contestants but I remember she used to love watching The Price Is Right because she felt they consistently had Black contestants

Which Causes do you hold near and Dear?

We’ve been blessed to be on this journey for a few minutes now. We’ve all seen and experienced events that have touched us to the core. Has that event, motivated you to support a Cause?

Personally, my Cause and ribbon is Pink. I lost my Mother, Grandmother, and a really close childhood friend to breast cancer.

I was diagnosed at 42yrs old, the same age my Mom was, when she was diagnosed. The difference was early detection. My mom fought the good fight for 5yrs, and passed 2mos before her 48th birthday. I got away with a lumpectomy and taking Tamoxifen(IYKYK) but that was a beast within itself.

My childhood friends and I have a Team in Jersey and we walk, raise money and a couple of times, we were one of the top Teams in our area. Some years I’ll fly home to walk or I just raise money. I also do Memorial donations to honor my Mother and Grandmother.

So, what’s your Cause, and why does it mean so much to you?
