So i will be coming from delhi to meerut via the RRTS till begumpul, i am only making the post to confirm it will be easy to get an auto from begumpul rrts to the location right? Uber is not available for the area from when i searched in the app and rapido is also shown as not available when i search online. Also if anything else i need to keep in mind, i will be travelling alone. I first thought that i should come a day early and book an hotel but then got to know about RRTS and travelling same day for afternoon exam.

I'm one of the many volunteer OpenStreetMap contributors of India, and I invite you all to attend the upcoming OpenStreetMap mapping party in Meerut!

A mapping party is an opportunity for everyone to learn about OpenStreetMap, why it is important, some simple ways of using it, and how to help improve OpenStreetMap data for the benefit of all. And it's all free!

All participants will meet at a cafe over drinks (bill is on us, don't worry!), and have a 60-minute introduction and learning session. Then, we will split up into teams and work together to improve the OSM data for the nearby market. Finally, we all regroup, conclude, and get something to eat.

I particularly encourage women and members of the queer community to participate, as they are very underrepresented in the OpenStreetMap community. It takes a diverse community to make a community map!
