I had called them and they said its started, so anyone who converted after WL?
Some Nashik centre .
I'm a Maharashtra Domiciled non-eng F (OBC-NC) with 9/9/7 profile and one year gap. What should I REALISTICALLY expect?
25M here. Academics: 10th - 95%, 12th - 81%, Engineering CGPA - 9.6, CFA Level 3 Candidate
Work ex: ~1.5 years at a finance firm working in private valuations.
I gave CET this year without much prep and somehow expecting around 165 based on the answer key. There’s a decent chance I may convert JBIMS.
The original plan, however, was to properly prepare for CAT this year and target BLACKI, FMS Delhi and SPJIMR.
Now I’m confused about what makes more sense if I do get a JB admit this year.
I’ve read a few posts recently saying JBIMS placement quality has gone down a bit in recent years, especially for front-end finance and consulting opportunities which i want to get into.
Wanted some insights regarding should i go for CAT this year and how the are placements in JB currently
Hey everyone! 👋
Final year student here — almost done with my degree and now fully shifting focus to MBA CET 2027 prep. Wanted to get some guidance from people who've been through this.
Based on my research, I've shortlisted these 4 options:
- Top Percentile
- Crack Every Test
-CETKing
- Aptitude Matters
Would love to hear from anyone who's used any of these — quality of content, faculty, mock tests, value for money, anything helps!
For Quant, Verbal, LR, Abstract Reasoning — what books/YouTube channels/PDFs worked best for you?
Are the mocks from these coaching platforms good enough? Which one to take: TTP/ CETKING / ELC / TESTFUNDA / CRACK EVERY TEST / APTITUDE MATTERS
Looking for free YouTube channels, PDFs, previous year papers, or anything that covers the CET syllabus well.
Any advice from CET toppers or people currently prepping would be super helpful.
Couldn’t really prepare for this attempt but I cant really continue with my current job for another year so wanted to know my options.
9/9/9 engineering F, OBC NCL
I was slot 3 and 6. Saw CETking’s video where he said 5 ans 6 are interchangeable. Anyone who was in both please share your view.
What will be cutoff for JBIMS and SIMSREE.
I feel stressed even after the exam thinking about cutoffs.
Hope CET releases response sheet soon
23F here, a little confused about JBIMS options and wanted some honest advice from people who know the ecosystem well.
I gave my first MAH MBA CET attempt literally just for fun 😭 I hadn’t prepared, didn’t even properly know the sections/pattern, just wanted to see what the paper feels like. After the answer key, I realized I had scored around 120.
Then before my second attempt, I had around a week, so I gave a few mocks mainly to understand strategy/time management and now I’m expecting somewhere around 140–160.
Profile:
10th: 92.8% (ICSE)
12th: 88.4% (ISC)
BTech CS: 97% equivalent CGPA
2 years work ex at a fintech company as an Associate Technical Consultant (current package ~8-10 LPA)
The thing is — I’m not super passionate about any one domain specifically. My primary goal honestly is maximizing career growth/package.
So I’m confused between:
- Trying for JBIMS MMS
- Considering the JBIMS MSc Finance program instead
- Or just continuing my job and trying again next year for MMS if needed
I know MMS is obviously harder to get, so I wanted realistic opinions:
- How good is MSc Finance actually in terms of placements/opportunities?
- Does it significantly differ from MMS in outcomes/reputation?
- Would my tech + fintech background help there?
- If my end goal is highest possible compensation trajectory, what would you do in my place?
Not desperate to do an MBA immediately since I already have a stable job, so I’m trying to think long-term and rationally instead of just chasing a tag.
Would genuinely appreciate honest advice from current students/alumni 🙏
Ek toh they didn't accept their own mistakes.
But agar sabke marks increase hue toh fayda kya.
I mean inter slot toh normalisation hoga nahi unke normalisation document ke hisaab se.
Agar mere slot me sabke marks 5 marks se badh jaaye toh ranks same hi hoga naa. Percentile toh nahi badlega. Kya chutiya bana rahe hai humko yehlog.
Uparse mere 2 Abstract bhi nahi accept kiye in slot 5.

Hey fellas! I am much positive on my MBA CET attempt 2. I would at least be getting SIMSHREE and if luck permits JB. I was here in Mumbai today and was exploring the area around JB. Got fking exhausted on the half way to SIMSHREE. Couldn't go there and went back to metro for my flight.
I wasn't able to find anything nearby. Please please tell me exactly where are you guys staying. What hostels/pg/flats?
Also, So fking Hot in Mumbai mannn!!! 😭😭😭😭
What do you all think?
It was no where near the difficulty of first attempt !
I'm done with all of this shit I don't want to give the exam tomorrow. I will mostly convert iim k and I have another option for working. I've been doing this shit for 2 year, I have put all this before my mental health, my social life, my friends. Even giving this exam has become really stressful . What do you people think should I give the exam or not
Edit: Truly a hearty felt thank you to everyone who replied. I feel much better right now and hope I can give the same assurance to a person in need the way you all have done for me. It might sound extra but I really needed it, I'll be giving the exam tomorrow. Again thank you everyone 🙏
Slot 1 - 2 marks
Slot 2 - 3 marks
Slot 3 - 1 mark
Slot 4 - 1 mark
Slot 5 - 2 marks and 2 answers changed in answer key
I found slot 1 pretty lengthy and moderate. What's your take?
When do you guys think the response sheet should be out?
This guys prediction changes like my ex behaviour
