MBA CET '27 PREP

Hey everyone! 👋

Final year student here — almost done with my degree and now fully shifting focus to MBA CET 2027 prep. Wanted to get some guidance from people who've been through this.

  1. Which online course should I go with?

Based on my research, I've shortlisted these 4 options:

- Top Percentile

- Crack Every Test

-CETKing

- Aptitude Matters

Would love to hear from anyone who's used any of these — quality of content, faculty, mock tests, value for money, anything helps!

  1. Which study resources should I follow?

For Quant, Verbal, LR, Abstract Reasoning — what books/YouTube channels/PDFs worked best for you?

  1. Which mock test series is worth taking?

Are the mocks from these coaching platforms good enough? Which one to take: TTP/ CETKING / ELC / TESTFUNDA / CRACK EVERY TEST / APTITUDE MATTERS

  1. Are there any good FREE resources?

Looking for free YouTube channels, PDFs, previous year papers, or anything that covers the CET syllabus well.

Any advice from CET toppers or people currently prepping would be super helpful.

JBIMS PLACEMENT SCENES

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand realistically how much my academics can affect placements during MBA, especially for consulting and finance roles.

My profile:

  • 10th: 93.4%
  • 12th: 65%
  • BE in CSE: 7.6 CGPA (~68%)
  • Expected work ex before MBA: around 1 year

I’m targeting colleges like JBIMS through MBA CET and I’m mainly interested in:

  • Big 4 consulting
  • finance roles (banking/corporate finance etc.)

I know MBB and top finance firms can be very academic-focused, but I wanted to ask:

  • How limiting is a 9/6/7 profile really during placements?
  • Does a strong MBA college compensate for weaker 12th marks?
  • Does 1 year of work ex help significantly in shortlists?
  • Are Big 4 consulting roles still realistic with this profile?

Would really appreciate honest insights from people who have gone through MBA placements.

Thanks!
