I have a Night Thrasher at level 110, at Gear 20.5, and he got killed before taking a turn. I was really hoping to avoid buying character shards with chapter store currency, but it looks mandatory if I am to compete in this tower (when it comes back).

Why are purple T5 ions still so pay gated? DD 9 has already been released and cleared but Scopely has kept a strangle hold on purple T5 ions. The first milestone with T5 ions is 566,000 points! F2P can get 62,000 points. Cores are worth 8 points with no limit. It will require 62,500 cores to reach a single purple T5 ion!!
There is literally NOTHING worth chasing in the non-premium milestones. Terror Credits... wow.
Meaningful rewards for the endgame F2P are so far out of reach that the game isn't even worth playing. We used to be able to EARN things. Now you pay or stagnate.
So it appears that players are getting different objectives for this milestone. I was able to complete all the "non premium" objectives just using the full team in war. None of them were higher than T15.
This amounted to 2000+ T4 training mats and around 30m gold just for throwing away a single war attack (I actually won the fight but still).
Compensation definitely required. Adding my evidence.

I spent a solid 5 minutes refreshing to try and find a remotely fair match up for my 713,000 team and then just watch the ai wail on me and kill half my team for 2 minutes before I even get a turn?
I’m aware I’m underpowered and half my characters aren’t meta anymore. I took a couple years off
Am I doomed to just sit where I am before I somehow grind enough to get up there?

I played both mighty tower storm and mighty tower storm omega, and i cant get 6 event points
I don't have my daring warrior ready right now, my initial plan was to skip daring warrior but they are required for both ss event and mighty tower. So if mighty tower comes back i can build my dw. Thanks
I normally do not post much other than general questions, but I feel like I want to provide my perspective to the conversation of everything that has been happening over the last few months.
I wanted to give Scopely the benefit of the doubt regarding new changes as I can understand that some changes were needed going forward.
Instead Scopely has gutted what was left of the game and is not actively talking with anyone to see how the changes are affecting people.
The economy is still in the toilet. There are some neat ideas, but not executed well. I really like the idea of orbs that change based on level, but only if the rewards are enough. The Training mat orbs we get from Arena are ok at best, but we get one every other day?? Why can't we get like 10 orbs for 1st and trickle down to one orb for top 500. Either that or increase the amount each orb drops. We need about 2K orange mats to get to a usable level for ONE character. With this system I can get that in about 10 days, meaning a whole new team would take almost 2 MONTHS to get to a usable level, meaning you may mis the next team that will be needed for the next 4 events to get the NEXT team.
T4 mats were never a bottleneck for me for the longest of times, but after the change to lock them into the Ability orbs, my supply has run out. Just yesterday I had 8 T4's. Not 80, not 800, but EIGHT.
I was one who saved up my power cores for characters I really wanted. With their removal from Arena, I feel like I get barely any, to the point I do not refresh the stores or even energy.
But hey they at least gave us new content to play... if you are lucky enough to have built specific teams without being told we need those teams.
I really would like to do the War tower as I love Jeff, but my Omen and Shadow Conclave are going to be sitting at level 1, even Silver Breaker.
They gave us a bit more content but removed most of the rewards.
The worst part is that they heard the noise before the changes, they hear the much louder noise now, but still there has been NO communication.
This isn't that big of a deal but the past month I have to open the game twice to get it to load. First time it gets to 42% and just sits there. Close the app, open it again and it works.
Like I said not a big deal but annoying and wondering if anyone else has this issue or knows if there's a fix
Looks like I'm not going to get my daring warriors ready in time (for node 5) before the storm tower disappears. Have they hinted anywhere how long it'll likely be before it returns?

Just used Daimon, Mighty Storm, Sentry, Jeff and Eclipse to beat Node 11. All of them G20 but not all Level 110
So I'm struggling with the tower not even the omega one and I'm confused on what I'm doing wrong

Hey guys. Is there a specific team I'm supposed to have in the mighty tower? Despite having a team with a total power more than Cell 3, I kept getting wiped before I can even get a turn.
My strongest mutants are Deadpool, wolverine, Emma frost, magik, Northstar, cannonball, darkstar. I have others that I'm working on, but is there a specific character is should focus on? Thanks
So I have consistently said for a while that the game is on its last legs, and have been shouted down about it in various mediums. Both Redditor’s and part time CC’s (Remanx) have argued the toss that everybody says it all the time and that everything’s fine.
My main point has been that the actions of the company in recent times very much fit the framework of them sunsetting the game and squeezing the last bits of cash out of those still willing to pay.
Now whilst this isn’t necessarily full proof, we do have a fair bit of evidence in this video.
I should state, i am a big fan of Rayge and everything he does for the F2P community, he’s one of the best and most honest CC’s around. I know Boilon used to track numbers via events etc, so I’ll be intrigued to see what his data is like too.
As stated in the linked video, numbers look like they are way down. Which makes the steps they’ve taken to hypermonetise what remains of the player base sensible.
Anyway, have a watch and see what you think!
Where it says “Play War with Shadow Conclave 0/5”, is that number based on characters or how many times I play the full team??
I have all but Malekith, so if I played them, would I get 4/5 and then just need to play one more character on the next War to complete?
Or do I need the full team?
So I wanted to retry Floor 12 with a different character that I used on the previous floor. No big deal, I’ll just reset the day.
Oh, I reset both days? Ok well I will just have to wait the normal 24 hour cool down to use the character I wanted.
