So I have consistently said for a while that the game is on its last legs, and have been shouted down about it in various mediums. Both Redditor’s and part time CC’s (Remanx) have argued the toss that everybody says it all the time and that everything’s fine.
My main point has been that the actions of the company in recent times very much fit the framework of them sunsetting the game and squeezing the last bits of cash out of those still willing to pay.
Now whilst this isn’t necessarily full proof, we do have a fair bit of evidence in this video.
I should state, i am a big fan of Rayge and everything he does for the F2P community, he’s one of the best and most honest CC’s around. I know Boilon used to track numbers via events etc, so I’ll be intrigued to see what his data is like too.
As stated in the linked video, numbers look like they are way down. Which makes the steps they’ve taken to hypermonetise what remains of the player base sensible.
