Hey there. I’ve never been drawn to jeskai or izzet, and, hence, never built a deck around those color combos. Got the itch to try the though after bouncing some ideas off a friend for a deck focused around multiple combats and multiple turns. Trying to make a goblin workshop style deck where I turn artifacts into beaters or other value engines that can be used to win. Either by noncombat damage or getting bodies on the battlefield. I've narrowed down a lot of what I've looked at but still not sure about what else to cut and what maybe I should have put back in. Hello! First time building a deck from scratch, using a few different resources for recommendations. I want to lean in on kibo's ability and politics around artifacts.

Simic Cookies was one of my favorite decks on Arena, so i tried making it a commander deck. It's underwhelming, to say the least. It is very clunky, uses a lot of resources on making artifacts to creatures and doesn't really have a win condition except "cyberdrive awakener"/ overloaded "rise and shine" and "tezzeret the seeker" ultimate. For all of them you need to have made enough artifacts to overrun all opponents in one turn.

I'm aware that the concept of the deck won't make it above bracket 3 but currently it feels more like a bracket 1 deck than a bracket 2 deck. I don't know how i could make it stronger without removing the key strategy of the simic cookies standard deck (make cheap artifact - turn to creature - beat opponent).

I hope there are some people here who are more advanced in building decks or maybe even have tried the same weird thing in commander with tips for cuts and additions to the deck. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sideboard and maybeboard are cards i fiddled around with or thought about fiddling around with.

I'm also open for suggestions for a completely different commander, i just thought Adrix and Nev would fit best with the style this tries to play.

Hi, this is my elven clown car deck https://moxfield.com/decks/5icmTGKB6kq9duwQ75i7MQ . I'm not very good at deck building so any advice or tips on improving it would be greatly appreaciated. I'm worried that in splitting my focus between the two stratagies (Tokens v +1/+1s) that I'm losing the value of both. Also I have no idea if tribal decks are even a competative idea these days. The whole commander levels of power if beyond my poor pea brain.

For ages the Red/White color combo has been all about attacking, but the original strixhaven reinvented that with [[osgir, the reconstructor]] and turned the color combo into an artifact reanimator-style archetype. But we didn't see that theme carried through other sets, and I'm wondering why. But with the Lorehold Spirit precon from Secrets of Strixhaven is giving us a full-blown creature reanimator deck in Red/White and it's AMAZING. Check out my full deck review and precon upgrade for details on how this plane once again sets the new standard for a "boring" color combo.

Trying to tune this aristocrats deck so it can keep up with upgraded precons around Bracket 3 in my LGS! I’ve been having trouble with this deck while playing against some of the strongest unmodified base precons and especially modified precons. Not aiming for high power, just want it to be more consistent, resilient, and able to hold its own.

Looking for:

- Cards to buy and budget alternatives

- Cards to cut

Hello! My partner and I have a bunch of 60 card decks that the two of us play with because he doesn't like deck building.

They're kind of inconsistent when it comes to power level but I like to make them good at what they do and still kind of fun to play with. They're also loosely set constructed.

I'm trying to get a dimir faerie deck together using mostly cards from Wilds of Eldraine but I'm willing to use other sets as long as the cards fit in thematically.

It just... Doesn't seem that good at what it does. It always seems to be on the back foot and when it wins it feels like a struggle through the whole game. It's death by a thousand cuts but it feels difficult to actually achieve.

Could someone please make some suggestions?

I'm a new player looking for help with a budget and thematic Kratos, God of War deck please. I already own the Secret Lair God of War Greek cards, so the list I have so far would not need to purchase these.

I'd ideally like the deck to be around £150, as with it being a new hobby I don't want to overcommit. I'm based in the UK and would likely look to buy the cards from Cardmarket if that helps!

A few things I'm concerned about are, that with me being so new, the decklist I've created doesn't work together or the cards are wanting to do different things.

Another concern I have is around several cards in the deck I've created so far, mainly Heartless Hidetsugu and Magus of the Moon, as the group I play with are just a group of mates and we play very casually, and I'm concerned they could be too much or not fun to play with.

As per my previous post, I've established that my group would like our decks to not be above bracket 3 for now.

Any advice on the decklist, any upgrades or cards that should be removed would be greatly appreciated! Please feel free to be completely honest as I really am brand new to this and have likely made a lot of mistakes!
