Gen 6 and frames

So I heard we might be able to get Glock gen 6 frames even if the gen 6 doesn’t reach the roster?
Does anyone know how this works? I’ve heard it from a few sources including gun store employees, but I know the frame is serialized so I was curious how to go about this

United Gun Shop Sues Capitol One!

One of our local shops is in an article by the Daily Wire. United Gun Shop is suing Capital One for blocking their banking services due to political reasons and in violation of Maryland Law. I'm so glad to see our local shops fighting back and I hope they win this lawsuit. This is a problem in our industry where the big banks will rip the rug out from under you in a heartbeat. I have also heard of this happening where the bank will freeze your accounts and lock down your money. It could take months to get that money back which can kill a small business. This type of discrimination against the 2A industry has to stop and hopefully this lawsuit will help.

Favorite Gun Shops

What’s everyone’s favorite MD gun shops? So far I’ve only purchased from Cindy’s in Glen Burnie/Severn. I am impressed with Cindy’s selection of handguns, accessories, and over all store conditions. Recently I swing into Guntry but was underwhelmed with their selection. From their social media I was expecting more variety. Their wall of magazines was nice, best I’ve seen. What’s everyone’s favorite shop with variety?

Local place that sells M1 Clips

Invited to go shooting on Thursday. Want to try out my new-to-me CMP M1 Garand. Realized I only have one 8-round en bloc clip. Anyone know any place locally that sells them? (Baltimore, Annapolis, DC area). Or any place online that’ll overnight them? Plenty of places to get them online, but none that’ll get here in time.

Is there anyway to get fingerprinting done in NY for Wear and Carry Permit

As the title says: is there any way to get fingerprinting done in NYC?

Next best option: anyone know of any fingerprinting places that are open on Sunday?

Thanks so much!

Newbie AR pistol short barrel owner.

Gonna pick up new set up this week.

Shop put upper and lower together with iron sights.

Have a vortex crossfire in stock for a starter optic.

Aside from a strap set up when ready.

Getting mags from PA and 5.56 ammo.

What do I need to do.

Been reading that lube is most important prior to shooting, cleaning soso on the videos some do most just lube?

Any insights helpful..

Not a newbie been carrying 5 years and own a FPC, so new to AR and Ammo.

Hi guys,

I’m a gun owner in NJ moving to Maryland at the end of June. I own a NJ compliant rifle which means a welded muzzle device, 10rd mags, and no foldable stock/brace. I also own a pistol which is limited to 10rd mags and NJ compliant. What is the process to transfer my NJ Firearms license to Maryland? And do I need to have my firearms modified by an FFL to do so?

Thanks

Best place sell rifles?

I am doing some spring cleaning and have a few long guns, rifles and shotguns that I haven't used in a few years but are in great condition. Where would be the best place that would buy them? Not looking to give them away by getting low-balled at a random pawn shop. I am in the Frederick area.

Thanks for the help!

I’m trying to build my first custom AR, but the laws in Maryland are confusing as hell. I was looking at buying a PSA lower, but their site says lower receivers can’t be sold to Maryland anymore because they fall under the “copycat” ban.

I’ve talked to a few gunsmiths and FFLs around me and I’m getting completely different answers. Some say it’s still legal as long as I build it into a compliant rifle. Others say “who would know unless you use it in a crime,” which isn’t the kind of advice I’m trying to follow.

I really don’t want to buy a full factory AR just to tear it apart and rebuild it; that’s a lot more money. Shops like Hanover Armory still build theirs, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re MD‑compliant.

I’m new to AR builds, but I’ve wanted one for years. Has anyone here recently purchased a lower in Maryland? Any issues in the last year? Just trying to get real‑world experiences from people who’ve actually gone through it.

About to take the WCL course and apply for an out of state WCL. Things to keep in mind?

I am going into MD for a couple of days to take the 16 hour course for my out of state resident Wear and Carry License. Would really appreciate if anyone could help me with the following and just any general things to keep in mind as I go through the process.

  1. When in the process should I get fingerprinted? I heard the fingerprints are only valid for 72 hours. Is this attached to my application at the time of submitting or can I add it later?

  2. Is there a list of all places that do fingerprinting? I am looking for a place around Elk Mills - 21920 if possible.

  3. How long is turn around time from submitting the application.

  4. Do I need to actually pay a place for a PP style photo or can I just use a PP style photo that I have taken?

Thanks so much in advance!!

HGP/CCW question

This is the closest place I could think of to ask my question. I have a HGP. I have seen things online that I could conceal carry a switch blade but not brass knuckles. Does anybody know if I can with a valid HGP?

Voluntary registration

When I’m trying to register my firearms (previously bought in another state), it’s asking me for an HQL number. According to MD, I don’t need an HQL for guns I bought before I moved to Md . Is there a different portal I have to use? (Been here more than 90 days)
